Hi Ankit,

First of all I would like to congratulate you for landing in Canada and wish you all the best for your job search. Well I have not been very active member in this forum but I would appreciate your contribution in this forum in past while in India and now when you have reached Canada.
Not many people contribute to this forum after landing in Canada. HATS OFF TO YOU and all the best. Also don't miss Delhi summers, it is really very hot these days and enjoy pleasant weather of Toronto.
DELHI INDIAN
Thanks for your wishes and compliments

Mayank it depends on your needs what you choose.

There is one master bedroom with bathroom and rest are rooms with shared bathroom. I feel both are ok. The location is good as you are next to don miils station and Fairview mall. Some new comer services are also near by so I would recommend the place and choice of rooms and packages would depend on individual

COngrats! and hope u can find a job in ur field..aside from FACTORY worker..
sad to know :( that most of Canada jobs for new immigrants are factories
regardless of ur work experience and country of experience.

I think Toronto is quite saturated with immigrants coming all over the world.
We got Landed a month ago (April 2011), from USA, the place is not so promising
with a lot of restrictions (Banks, Govt services, driving etc..) I am speaking only
for myself, I dnt know about other new immigrants experiences.

My Husband work in Telecoms in the US for more than 5yrs, I am with IT but as of
this time we dont see any sign of promising jobs in our field. No replies from employers etc..
So we need to get going and have something going back to our account instead of coming out.
My husband work in factory just to earn a penny...5 days of work will only give him CDN 300+
while he can only get that in less than a day of work in US, but we dont have a choice but
to take the PR not knowing the situation. So, our plan is to get the GC soon and go back to
US as soon as possible. US is still the best place to migrate for me.

ankit knows well too, US is a big big economy and IT has a massive thrust there.
Canada doesnt not even have the fraction of IT structure comparing to the US.

So, change your work field after getting PR, nobody will ask you to work in other skills.
