re-medical request

hi there

my wife got email today for having medical examination again as her last medical got expired last month. but this time they asked for following extra things

1. Chest Xray (in DCOM/ JPEG format) with report (in pdf)
2. Completed MEDICAL REPORT CHEST X-RAY REQUISTION AND REPORT form (Page 5 and 6 of IMM5419) (in pdf)
3. Duly completed Re-assessment Form

With this i want to know is it normal to get these Xrays examination with re-medical request as previous one is already expired. Plz let me know if u have any info

Time line for my wife's case is as follow

We received your application for permanent residence on April 23, 2015.
We started processing your application on June 26, 2015.
Medical results have been received.

medical for immigration includes general physical check, x-ray and blood test.

I know the exam result is valid for 1 year but the sponsor approval takes more than a year then other step. so technic if the medical exam result is sent with the application it will be asked again due to expiration date which is 1 year. so do we need to get the medical exam after the application not to waste our money??

its better to summit the Exam at the same time with Aplication, couze if you dont, then expect delays in your aplication,
the thing is that if your case take more thatn one year wich depends of your Visa Ofice, the Visa ofice could extend the medicals
so do it upfront and expect that you aplication is going to be done before than a year.
