Many thanks Jatt! It's a real learning from everyone's experience here. Could you pls share your timeline like when did you send request for addition, when did you get confirmation from VO, if you received any and when MR received. Thanks once again!

After the birth of my lil one I wrote an email to visa office in March end to which they responded back after one month ,
They asked me to resubmit the updated forms,passport copy of newborn and fee etc
I received Medical request 3 months later after submitting the forms

I made a big goofup today by not submitting MR reqest letter along with my application package. It has all the documents except this. I don't know whether they will process the application without that. Did anyone faced such an issue.

Thanks for the reply. One more thing, when I applied for FSW 2014 I sent a DD with my application, now for adding my new born into the application shall I send a DD of $150 or can I pay that online. If online then how can I link it to my application.

Oh yes am sure you can pay the $150 online,though i paid with DD when I added my baby

Hey guys,

After a prolonged wait, I have now received my visa and also got my tickets booked for 24th Feb '16 to Toronto. Couple of questions I have:

1. I intend to carry a travellers cheque and some cash, is carrying a travellers cheque best option or opening a bank account from India itself is?
2. A friend of mine who lives in Midtown Toronto, said there aren't any 1 bhk apartments less than $1200 and that I should also consider living in Mississauga. What are the best websites to search for apartments in Mississauga?
3. I am the primary applicant whose, of course, ECA is done but my husband's isn't, so should we get his education credentials assessed from here itself or after migrating there?

I have recently[2days back] received a visa collection letter mail for myself and spouse...

So need to know the process for filing the immigration documents for my kid.

I have already send the enquiry mail but haven't received any revert from Colombo enquiry mail id...

Please suggest the way forwards...

Click continue at the end of the page
Check the box and click continue
Click option 2 (Immigration)
Click option 3 (Federal skilled worker)
In option 2, write 1 (column of number of applications)(CND 150)
Click Submit & the payment receipt will be shown on screen.
Send a copy of this receipt to VO.

On epayment page , there is an option (at top right) "Managed Account". Click on it and it will say (on left side) "If you are a new client, please Register" when you click on word "Register" you will find below msg:

You need to register by creating an account with a valid e-mail address and password if you want to:
Pay or retrieve your citizenship or immigration fees on-line;
(Use the same email address, that you use for VO communication)

Don't worry, just send it now.
And send an email to your VO informing of the second mail package. (add "URGENT" in the subject line of the email).

Is MMR vaccine a requirement before we land in Canada? For those who had landed already, did the immigration officer at the port of entry asked for MMR vaccine certificate?

NO requirement. Only needed for school admissions (Under 16 years).
