Hi Folks,

I received my Passport Request from CHC New Delhi on May 22nd and sent the passports on 2nd June. Its been 6 weeks and there has been no further update. I am beginning to get anxious. Any Idea what might be causing the delays. Could there be something that's gone awry at such advanced stages.


This step is taking forever.. and the anxiety is killing me...

WOW! this makes me worry.. yesterday only i was feeling happy of reaching DM stage.. Looks like more grilling is left.

Don't worry brother m in same situation. I deposited on 1st June to ndvo and still waiting

Thanks Satwant1502, let me go ahead and do that. The passport has been with them forever, and I've had to miss an office trip to Dalian, China and am going to miss one to Tokyo because I'm not in possession of my passport.

Thanks Satwant1502, let me go ahead and do that. The passport has been with them forever, and I've had to miss an office trip to Dalian, China and am going to miss one to Tokyo because I'm not in possession of my passport.

And if you are in delhi, you can personally visit the CHC .

This helped 2-3 people in past .
they visited because of already planned trip / official trip .

In the past couple of days a new trend has been observed in eCas, in which many applicants whose Medicals has been received by the visa officer, were expecting Passport Request, has been surprised with the "Decision Made" status.

In the past, Decision Made status appeared once the visa officer receives the passport from the applicants after issuing the PPR. I understand that unexpected surprises in the application process at this stage brings the goose bumps and anxiety. :-X

There are many applicants who had selected SGVO as their their original VO. However due to heavy workload SGVO transferred some files to MANILA VO. Applicants whose files were transferred to MANILA VO lets connect here and share our timelines, views and thoughts. let's see what is the current Status of the MANILA VO.

Note: I would like to suggest those who are waiting for long time to raise a CSE regarding his/her current Visa Office. In my case I found my VO transferred to MANILA from SGVO after raising the CSE. As different visa office works differently, I think this will be very helpful if you know in advance which visa office is processing your file.

hello, all members
I have my ppr on 18 june to print my visas in Abu Dabi , but I requested the embassy in Riyadh to print my visas as I am resident in Jeddah
and they agreed. I submitted passports to VFS Jeddah on 21 June. more than one month passed but no news , no change in tracking
I emailed VFS but they replied that it is responsibility of the embassy .I ALSO emailed the embassy 11 days ago and no reply.
on 4th of july I received another email requesting to send passports to Ottawa but they said if I have received former email I have to neglect the later email.is this delay normal ,also what do I have to do.
