Send your passport to husband. Let him send both to CPC. Let him receive it in Canada and then send you yours.

Svcanada: my situation is similar to yours. My husband is in canada and i am in US.
Our VO is New Delhi.

I have emailed ND yesterday if i can send the passport to New York, while my husband sends it to CPC-O.
I wonder how long it will take for them to respond to the email.

Also while searching for more info on this, I came across the below FAQs on their official webpage. (Q. No.-7)

This says that it is fine if the payment is made in wrong category provided the amount paid is correct.

Passport Transmission Services at VFS

If you have received notification from the Government of Canada requesting your passport, your passport along with the passport request letter may be submitted through the Canada Visa Application Centre of your choice.

How to submit your passport:

Once you receive notification from the Government of Canada requesting your passport, you can submit the passport and that passport request letter:

In person/ through an authorized representative at the CVAC (Canada Visa Application Centre or VFS)

To retrieve your passport, you have the choice of;

• 1. Picking up the passport in person or through an authorized representative at the CVAC (VFS); or;
• 2. Courier returns facility. The passport will be returned back to the specified home or office address via courier.

The Passport Transmission Services offered by the CVACs will enable you to;

• 1. Get your passport delivered to the CVO in a timely and safe manner.
• 2. Track the status of your passport by using the Tracking tool on the CVAC website

Raise a CSE & send an email to Delhi-Immigration with Urgent tag requesting to delay Medicals for all....Hopefully they will respond as below->

It is best to delay Medicals for all until the birth of the baby bcoz I believe Visa validity will be till one year from the date of the 1st person doing Medicals...If u do ur Medicals now, and ur wife and baby do it later, that might reduce ur Visa validity period hence the time to land..hence better get a deferral...Others can correct me if I'm wrong...

On the other hand, since ur wife is 3 months' pregnant, X-Ray may be possible with lead plating...then u might want to not inform NDVO, just directly go for Medicals, talk to the Doctor and take a call....since otherwise ur looking at least a 7-8 month delay....But of course baby's safety takes priority here, so whatever the Doctor advises...

In my case, I requested them to delay my medicals as my wife was 1 month pregnant then and I had received MR. But NDVO insisted to carry out the procedure as mentioned in the MR mail.

Don't panic.
1. You might have created account at CIC website for online payment. So from there you can get your receipt by login again. It will show you receipt .
2. You might have still final payment gateway page so you can save that as jpeg or PDF then take a printout and fill it and send it along with other asked document.
3. You will get am email after some time if you have given correct mail id.
4. You will get a sms from bank for transaction as well.
I hope anyone from first 3 will be fine for you.
