Can someone please help me clarify few queries,

1) What all documents I need to submit to VFS other than Email, Passport (Original), Photographs and Excel Sheet? These documents should be enough
2) If I am wearing glasses is photographs with glasses ok? It's not mentioned in specification documents so was wondering either matters. You will be asked to remove the glasses. The glare will not allow the picture to be clear. I wear glasses but for visa photos, i was asked to remove the glasses
3) Do we need to fill any other documents while submitting same to VFS? Yes, VFS information sheet along with payment will be provided to you. If you opt for courier, then one more sheet needs to be filled out. All the information in Block letters

Happy to inform you that I have received my PPR this morning at 1000 Hrs IST. :-* :-* :-* :-*

Timeline on Left.....Some other important points to mention

1. I would also like to mention that I have submitted PCC for 5 countries. However, I have got PPR exactly after 30 days from MR.

2. Did my MR outside India and that too from a non e-medical center. The reports were sent to Regional Medical Center i.e. London and not to NDVO.

3. I requested NDVO to allow Visa stamping in my present country but they have mentioned to send the passport to India......

Re: Doubts with address to be provided at POE for PR card

Hi all,

I have some doubts regarding the address to be provided at POE to which the PR card will be dispatched:

1.) I have a job offer and am planning to join within a week after landing. So, is it possible for me to provide my future company's address as the address where the PR card has to be mailed? This would sound a little stupid if the address they are asking for is with the intention of knowing where I am going to reside along with where the PR card has to be mailed Grin Obviously, I cannot project that I am residing in my company. Please shed your views regarding this.

2.) Am staying at a Hotel for around a week during which time, am planning to find a rented apartment. So if I provide the Hotel's address at POE, and then I change the address online using ECAS on finding an apartment, is there a chance that the PR card might arrive at the Hotel since the instructions for online address change says that it takes 5 business days for the change to reflect.

In the above case, what happens if the applicant is not present at the place where the mail is delivered?

3.) Is it advisable to provide the address of an acquaintance, say my future manager or a friend of a relative???

4.) How long does it take for the PR card to arrive? Does it depend on the place where you reside?

Seniors and experienced members please provide your views regarding the above doubts.

I have already gone through the website and the information that it provides.

But i am confused because i do not want to open a canadian account since i am going to stay there for just 10 days. I would just be carrying my international debit/credit cards to use .

So i just wanted to ask if its okay if i show the bank statement of the account whose debit card i will be carrying.

There is nothing written on CIC site to confirm if one can carry a local bank statement in INR .But when you see the form which they use to check POF they seem to evaluate how much it is at CAD rate which leaves us in further doubt if such statements are accepted.If you want to confirm call up CIC call center and confirm if you can show that.

Well have you spoken to your settlement partners from COSTI ? What did they advised you?

My COSTI partner said NO to bank statements .

All rules are made by CIC and CBSA officials at the airport implement it.

1.75 percent in Bank transfer

2.25 percent Cash and Travel card

Yes i agree with you. WES has an option but the problem is if we avail this do we still need to fill FORM D.

This is very important to avoid duplicate of work.

If someone has a good opinion about below matter please advise

Contact WES - They have an option to share your transcript to any other institution . WES charge a small fee on this . You can login to your wes account and find that option . Else raise an query with wes .

Hey

Need advise on physiotherapists.

My wife got her education credentials verified via WES and is the prime applicant for PR.

Now the thing is we checked alliance physiotherapy ASSOCIATION website and how to get her license.

They conveyed that we again go through credentials verification process and send our transcripts. It is a complicate process in India.

They did mentioned that WES can send the reports and transcripts to them..you have any clue how exactly it is done once we land in canada.

There are four forms A,B,C,D. Form D (Arranging fresh transcripts) i feel is duplication of work since once it is done by WES should not be needed.

We will stay in Ontario province

Please advise your experience and provision to work as PTA without getting license
