U have only answered ur question bro...
Ur wife can keep her current residential address as Mumbai & u can mention urs as Delhi....There'd be no issues...It's logical since u both are working in different cities...

Also, Mailing address, Permanent Address and Current Residential Address of an applicant can all be different...(Speaking from my experience)...so no issues...

Do we need to send the cover letter with the ppr document ?

Is it necessary ? Or

The following docs are enough!
1 passports
2 photographs
3 mail
4 excel sheet

Kindly guide.
Not necessary if u r submitting through VFS....If ur submitting through courier, cover letter is advisable...

Hey

Need advise on physiotherapists.

My wife got her education credentials verified via WES and is the prime applicant for PR.

Now the thing is we checked alliance physiotherapy association website and how to get her license.

They conveyed that we again go through credentials verification process and send our transcripts. It is a complicate process in India.

They did mentioned that WES can send the reports and transcripts to them..you have any clue how exactly it is done once we land in canada

We will stay in Ontario province

Please advise your experience and provision to work as PTA without getting license

We will stay in missisuaga

Regards
Abhishek
Contact WES - They have an option to share your transcript to any other institution . WES charge a small fee on this . You can login to your wes account and find that option . Else raise an query with wes .

Our confusion is whether she should write her parents’ address or her in-laws’ address in place of residential address on the generic form. Her passport has her parents’ address on it. would CIC raise any issue if she writes her parents’ address?
Please advise
Thanks brother for your precious time

If she is staying currently at her parents' place she can write her parents' address as the residential address. CIC would not have any issue.

Hello Friends,

I have a question for people who have submitted passports from US for stamping. I have submitted mine on May 18th to New York office and they are suppose to come back through the normal mail only. How many days can this take any idea?

Also, is there anyone who travelled from US to Canada through flight? Is there is consideration given on luggage since we will go first time as PR to Canada? Or each bag was charged as per their travel policy? Please do respond if possible.

Doubts with address to be provided at POE for PR card

Hi all,

I have some doubts regarding the address to be provided at POE to which the PR card will be dispatched:

1.) I have a job offer and am planning to join within a week after landing. So, is it possible for me to provide my future company's address as the address where the PR card has to be mailed? This would sound a little stupid if the address they are asking for is with the intention of knowing where I am going to reside along with where the PR card has to be mailed Grin Obviously, I cannot project that I am residing in my company. Please shed your views regarding this.

2.) Am staying at a Hotel for around a week during which time, am planning to find a rented apartment. So if I provide the Hotel's address at POE, and then I change the address online using ECAS on finding an apartment, is there a chance that the PR card might arrive at the Hotel since the instructions for online address change says that it takes 5 business days for the change to reflect.

In the above case, what happens if the applicant is not present at the place where the mail is delivered?

3.) Is it advisable to provide the address of an acquaintance, say my future manager or a friend of a relative???

4.) How long does it take for the PR card to arrive? Does it depend on the place where you reside?

Seniors and experienced members please provide your views regarding the above doubts.

Regards...

She is working and thus staying in Mumbai but previously she put her parents' address as her residential address because we never know when we have to shift to other address while living on rent.

Please advise

Hi All,

I have finally received a PPR mail to submit my passport at London Visa office.

I will be travelling to Netherlands tomorrow and thus NDVO has assigned London Visa Office to me for stamping.

Now the question?

1. How do I manage travel to UK from Netherlands? Do we need a Visa to travel to UK from Netherlands?

2. If I end up submitting my passport to LVO, how would I be able to travel back to Netherlands, or would I have to wait for them to reply?

Anyone who has submitted PP to LVO please advise.

Regards,
V1313
Dear V1313,

Firstly, congratulations for your PPR mail. +1 for sharing the positive news :)
It gives me glimmer of hope. My timelines are similar to you.

DM on 9th May, yet no trace of PPR.
I have requested for stamping in London as I'm based out here for now. That could be the possible reason of delay.
Hopefully, I'll get RFV this week.

HOPE IS A GOOD THING. MAY BE THE BEST OF THINGS. AND NO GOOD THING EVER DIES !!

Now, coming to your questions. I'm no expert. Let seniors guide you.
But below are my suggestions.

1. Yes. Assuming you are an Indian citizen, we need VISA to travel to UK.
2. Obviously, you can't travel back to Netherlands without Passport. On an average, Canada Visa Application Centre (CVAC) in London takes 2 weeks to return the passport.

Please check with senior members more on this.

All the best for your stamping :)
Cheers !!

Hi V1313,

Congrats for ur PPR...I'd give u some slightly different advice...

For Netherlands, they should have ideally allowed u to get ur stamping done at Vienna Visa Office instead of LVO...this is bcos Vienna VO has jurisdiction over Netherlands->

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/apply-where.asp

I suggest u contact both NDVO and Vienna VO by raising a CSE here->

https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=vienna

If ur lucky, Vienna will respond allowing u to submit ur PP there for stamping...Now if this permission is granted, u can contact the VFS here->

http://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/germany/

for PP submission and transmission to Vienna...that way, you would not have to travel out of Holland...

Or, if u go for LVO, you would need a Visa for UK (assuming ur an Indian) and u wud need to wait in UK until u get ur PP back with stamped Visa....Or maybe u can contact VFS in London to see if u can courier PP to them (highly risky, wouldn't recommend it even if it's allowed)

You can explain to your spouse that with introduction Express Entry this is the only chance you guys have in your lifetime. There is no much change to happen in India in 5 yrs. Just take a chance, go there, try your best ... If goes well take your citizenship else return to India but only after full efforts for 1/2 years. I would strongly urge to take a chance...Best of Luck. ;)

Yes I am trying....hopefully i will get this visa :-[

Thanks for the response :)
