I am new to this forum. I have been a silent reader for long time but today I have to break my silence due to an urgent issue. I applied on nov 12, noc 1212 and got a per on feb 4, 2015
From ndvo. My slu on April 20. However I just realized that I forgot to mention about my canada visitor visa and student visa refusal in 2008 and 2009. But I renewed my passport after that and therefore this mistake occurred. How can I fix this problem? Will it be considered as mispresentation?
My consultant who is in canada told me strictly not to do anything now as it may lead to refusal and a ban for 2 years. What should I do? Really stressed.

Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

I think this information should not be forgotten. You were afraid to tell them about Canadian visa refusal and this could have damaged your whole PR visa application. In my opinion you should tell them before they local visa office discover this negligence themselves mainly that this visa refusal took place just a few years ago. But do not do anything at this moment until another senior forum member confirms my advice.

Hello Guys,

I received a mail from NDVO asking for Submission of Marriage Certificate, Legal Separation Petition, Declaration for an excluded spouse R117(9)(d) on 1ST May 2015 and I have sent these documents today and they will be delivered to NDVO by tomorrow. I just need your opinion regarding how much will this step delay my PR application. All the documents submitted are genuine and dully attested by court.

Mate as long as all docs are genuine and attested I highly doubt it will take long for VO to verify the same. But being a NDVO client you should expect a delay for few weeks considering the pace they work at

Hi dear,

Visit Hatat polyclinic in Ruwi, Muscat for medical. Call reception and inquire about medical for Canada immigration and they will provide all information.
Once appointment confirmed, it's matter of 4 hrs. to complete all the test if everything goes fine, they will upload ur report within 2 working days.

Yes buddy this can be considered as a misrepresentation as CIC must be having your details if u were refused any kind of visa in Canada or USA. I would strongly suggest to write a cover letter offering your apology and informing them about your unintentional mistake.

Seniors can suggest if I am wrong

I agree with stayblessed, it is always better, we provide clarity for the mistake done before they realize and BAN us.

This is very unpredictable with NDVO. Its been 45 days we have sent our additional docs (Spouse renewed passport) and we are yet to get our PPR.

It may take 10-30-45-60 days...approx....or more..not sure...when we get...we must feel blessed...thats it with NDVO :-(

Hey Guys, I am stuck in a situation. Pls help..

I have booked my flight with Lufthansa Airways, DELHI-FRANKFURT-MUNICH-TORONTO.

Now Lufthansa is saying that I require Transit/Schengen Visa since I have 2 stops and if I see VFS Germany Visa Information, they have stated.
"Exemptions:
a) Indian nationals holding a valid visa or residence permit from a member state of the Schengen area or Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Cyprus, Liechtenstein, Ireland, UK, Canada,Japan, USA (except for holders of an US “Advanced Parole Document”)
b) Indian nationals holding a valid residence permit Andorra, Monaco or San Marino
c) Diplomatic passport holders
generally do not require an airport transit visa.

What should I do? Shall I apply for Transit Visa now? Has anybody faced this situation? Eagerly waiting for replies..

Yes NDVO is absolutely unpredictible. Unfortunately they dont seems to be having a standard pattern, once applicant is asked for additonal docs then the aplication goes for a toss and it takes a while to hear form them again. People got PPR after medicals in 15 days also and there some unfortunate ppl like me who are waiting for PPR after 5 months of medicals

All we can do is just hang on and hope for the best.

Congrats for PP submission request.

However, if u are in Muscat, Oman then your request is from LVO not from NDVO. Same as mine.

As i have submitted my original PP to Canadian embassy in Abu Dhabi By Aramex (Along with return air way bill) as per email notification received from LVO.

We don't have any VFS in Muscat, Oman.

Check with Aramex head office in Al Khuwair, Near Shell petrol station, on the way to Lulu hyper market.

They can guide you.

What I understand is you were rejected twice for Canada (Visitor and Student). Could you please let me know if you were provided with any documentation for the reasons behind the rejection and if you have these documents handy?

I was rejected USA (F1) Visa and UK Student Visa and this is what I have written in the application form.

1. On 22nd Jun 2006, my F1 (Student) visa was refused for USA. I was not provided with any document in relation to the reasons behind the refusal. However, I was told verbally that I don't quality for F1 visa at that point of time.

2. On 16th Jan 2007, my student visa was refused for UK. I was provided with documentation in relation to the reasons behind the refusal. Please find the enclosed letter from the UK immigration officer.
