Hey guys. My POF has been complete since last year when I thought I'll get ITA from back to back draws of dec. Anyway, fast forward to this year and I decided to use some money (1500cad) for business to earn more funds during Covid19. Now I've gotten ITA, I'm expecting the money back from the same colleague to my account which will bring my funds back to being above the minimum. Hope it wouldn't be a problem when I submit my bank statements? Please advice

Learning about the "world" has a general implication, it can pretty much mean anything, so from that perspective you should not come up short. Since children are the subject, if you have covered learning about the natural and physical world then that is appropriate. There are several yardsticks for IELTS writing, and you are talking about task response, which is just one. There is also the letter which counts. If you feel you have done better than this then go for a review.

Was this a paper based test and where was your center?
Thanks for the reply. My query was regarding task achievements only because in other criteria my writing style has been consistent to my knowledge and as you mentioned the "world" itself can mean anything so I am feeling a little relaxed now and going for remark tomorrow. It was a paper based exam and in my last two attempts I took CD.

Thanks again for taking time in responding to my query.

Just got my TCF results:

EO = 13
EE = 13
CO = 480
CE = 699 (No, that is not a typo!)

As I said a few pages ago, I started studying French on 4 November 2019 (with zero knowledge of French) and sat for the TCF Canada on 26 July 2020 (just under 9 months of study). My points went up from 442 to 484. I'll go and create my EE profile now and then wait for the next all program draw.

Bonsoir,

Merci d'avance

That's inspiring - congrats in advance for your hard earned ITA!

To those who have already uploaded documents after ITA, I would like to ask how many files are you allowed to upload? For example, bank statements, should I combine all statements in one PDF, or can I upload each individually?

Combine in one pdf. No bigger than 4mb in size
Thanks, also did you provide an explanation in other employment information or which city you intent to stay in the Client information document .

For example, in my case I had a full time job from 2013 to 2015, but I did not ask any points from it since my 2015 to 2020 employment is enough to satisfy the 3 year work experience requirement. But I had to put it in the personal details information since it was asking for a 10 year span, is an explanation needed for this job in the client information document? Also in the city where you intend to stay, I put in Toronto for now, but since I got the ITA as an FSW and would probably move to the city or province where I most likely to get a job, do I have to explain this intention in the Client information document too?

Over the past two months, about 3100 new candidates entered the pool every month. Even though the data size is very small to generalize it, however, if this trend were to continue, the CRS cut-off should be declining in the coming draws to come. On the last draw, there were about 1900 candidates left with CRS score above 471. Now assuming the trend will continue for next two months, there will be about 6200 new candidates in next two months. Therefore, the total number of candidates in the pool over next two months is about 8000. Since 3900 candidates are generally invited every month, there is a great chance that the CRS cut-off will be inching toward 470 by that time.

Disclaimer: I have completely discarded the CEC draws and the candidates pulled out in those draws for my model.

I am intended to get married but in 3 to 4 months. We do not perform the customs yet and rings are not ready. You can add him after AOR. Its fine also if you have pictures to prove.
Its only my opinion based on what i read

I studied at home by myself... No teacher, no nothing. Here are the things that I used/did:

1) Pimsleur (all five levels, with each lesson repeated at least 4 or 5 times)

2) Assimil French with Ease and Assimil Using French

3) Various textbooks (Alter Ego 2, 3, 4, and half of 5; Belleville B1, B2; Rond Point 2; Streetwise French [this one isn't exactly a textbook])

4) YouTube videos to try and understand specific grammatical points (Learn French With Vincent, Learn French With Alexa and some others)

5) Watched French TV online (BFMTV, CNEWS, Franceinfo, France24)

6) Watched French parliamentary debates (That Melanchon dude is awesome; I know nothing about politics, but he speaks with a lot of conviction and gets you hooked)

7) Weekly calls with language partners on the app HelloTalk to practice my speaking

8) Towards the end, I would write a paragraph or two and send them to my language partners for correction; that REALLY saved my life

9) Changed the language of my devices to French

10) Read ALL Sherlock Holmes stories in French

As for how long every day, I am lucky in that I have tons of free time every day, so I studied French a lot... At least 3 or 4 hours even on a "bad" day.

If CIC goes back to all programs draw bi-monthly, high chance it drops to 470.
