My application for OINP has not yet been processed, can I withdraw and get refunded?

If your file is in Submitted state, then you will get refund

Security check still hasn't begun unfortunately, so no movement for months now.

Have you done your biometrics? Is it possible it’s cause of that? Cause when I did mine they kept telling me that the Canadian government will use my finger prints to run security checks.. not sure though

I would really recommend people check and post in their AOR threads, you're going to have a better idea of whether applications submitted in your month & year are moving along or not, you'll have a basis for comparison.

I got a lot of useful information from my AOR thread for example, we made a list of people who were waiting for PPR and updated it accordingly, people would mention when they got ghost updates, etc.

Highly recommend you guys use those threads, because you can compare your timelines in relation to other people's, because what matters more now is when you submitted your AOR not when you received your ITA.

I made the express entry file in Ocotober 2019 with a score of 468

but it got expired in October 2020 and then made a new profile the next day

Will i get an invite as tie breaking is June 04 ..will they consider my old profile or the new one for tie breaking

It is very disheartening as i have been waiting for more than an year

Please guide anyone ?? ?

I just withdraw the application and I just wait till they refund? Or is there anything else I can do to get refund?

I entered pool in January 2020 with crs 464 and in december starting ,updated my ilets score and crs went to 468.. as now tie breaker is of june 4... what are my aspects of being getting selected?? Will they consider January or december ??

Did them ages ago yeah - in September. They said they don't have a reason for not starting mine. They said they are short-staffed due to COVID and that people need to be patient. Not sure how some forum members have gotten PR in like 2/3 months, and meanwhile my security check hasn't yet begun and I'm nearing 6 months. I don't know how it all works on their end.

Just need to mail them for withdrawal, your refund will be processed automatically to whichever payment method you used

Thanks bud! I hope so too. I'm trying my best to be patient. It would be nice to have more info though, but IRCC probably doesn't know one month from the next due to Covid.

I wonder when they'll start allowing PRs to enter again. Maybe they're waiting for the second wave to die down first, or for Covid in the US to improve, before they reopen Canadian airports for CoPR activation.

Yes, the second wave is dealing them a huge blow especially in Ontario. And as most new immigrants come in through Pearsons, it might be safe to guess that they will start allowing immigrants to land again once they are able to control the second wave in Ontario.

The vaccines could also help them open up quickly. I guess we will wait and see.
