Well, Not to be negative, but the last election demonstrated how unrest US was. There could be a chance that more people want to immigrate to Canada.

I’m not sure why people are coming at you. Immigration (and Express Entry in particular) is a competitive, ranked system, where you should always be aiming to have the best score possible to you, to give yourself the best chance of progressing. If that means learning a secondary language (or improving the one you already have) or doing more studies, or working longer, then so be it.

Lamenting that scores aren’t dropping won’t make them drop, especially when thousands of others around the world continue to work on improving their scores (and prospects) on a daily basis.

There is optimism. And then there is fantasy land.

You will be surprised how many people choose to wait, rather than trying to improve their scores, even with IELTS retaking.

Thank you! I was at 469, fell down to 463 due to age few days back, received nomination from OINP on 4th November and ITA the next day. Feels like I barely made it somehow .

you were guaaranteed an ita after the oinp noi. no need to over exaggerate the situation. there are many peole who are actually in dire straits.

if you do not speak french, studied or worked in Canada unfortunately you do not have a chance. You have two options.
1) Enroll in a Canadian university for a master's degree and use pgwp to gain Canadian work experience
2) Learn French
