I’m not sure why people are coming at you. Immigration (and Express Entry in particular) is a competitive, ranked system, where you should always be aiming to have the best score possible to you, to give yourself the best chance of progressing. If that means learning a secondary language (or improving the one you already have) or doing more studies, or working longer, then so be it.
Lamenting that scores aren’t dropping won’t make them drop, especially when thousands of others around the world continue to work on improving their scores (and prospects) on a daily basis.
There is optimism. And then there is fantasy land.
