Go through all the Listening videos, they are step-by-step guide videos. Tremendously helpful techniques for all types of question. My score never dipped below 8 in Listening after watching them and using same techniques. Let me tell you, not bragging, my concentration wasn't 100% during the tests after watching them videos still scored 8.0 & 8.5 on two occasions respectively. Good luck.

Thank you very much!!

I will surely go through this and practice extensively before my next attempt! Cheers!

There are only 5 wednesday. 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23th, 30th.
Chances of three draws are more than three weeks gap. But cic is unpredictable so we can just hope for best
3 week gap is anyways not required. If 14 days gap is taken into consideration then we will have a draw on 9th and 23rd of May.

Trust that you have calculated CRS score correctly. So that apart, for Ontario PNP, they issue NOI for HCP for only those EE profiles which are 400+ unless you have french skills or got job offer in which case they can issue even if score is less.
For other PNP programs you need to check as when they open if you can apply. See their pages.

Job offer not possible in my profession... Its licensed.... Unfortunately my occupation not in most occupation demand lists... So French is the only hope I guess..

I am at 438 right now with CLB9, missed CLB10 because of .5 less in writing. Do you think it's worth it to give the exam again to improve the score or just wait for the cutoff score to drop?

U should wait as by the time you sit for the exam and get result, it seems like you will get ITA.

430 is already on the card if 3 draw happens in May, if not then CRS not gonno go below 430 this year for sure, 23rd May draw will be to watch coz no IELTS result will come out....after 4th may result ielts test date is 13th may n result will be 25th may so surely 435 all will be flushed out
I hope you're right. About 3000 people above 440 are getting in every two weeks. With a 3500 draw on May 9th, everyone over 440 and some on 439/438 will be cleared. Without any IELTS result, there could be about 1000 entries in two weeks with 440+ score, that means a draw of 3500 on May 23th could bring the cut-off down to 435/436.

Yes I agree about no IELTS results.
But look at the profile distribution in this range:(my assumption is 7100 till date)
431 - 500
432 - 1000; 433 - 1000; 434 - 500
435 - 1000; 436 - 600; 437 - 500
438 - 1000; 439 - 500; 440 - 500.
Let's say may9th we reach 439.
Assuming we have draws on may16th and may23rd, in that case we reach 436 and possibly 433 max in the 3rd draw..
So 430 even 432 is not possible at all.

This is just my calculation, happy and wanted to be proven wrong.
Your distribution between 431 and 440 is pretty good based on the info we have. However, three draws in three weeks may not happen. If there are back to back draws, let's say on 9th and 16th, then there might be a two week gap until the next one (May 30th) or may be on 9th and then 23rd and 30th. If, somehow, you prediction turns out to be true and we have three in a row, the scores could drop down to 433.

I was at 440 and lost 5 points last month. Now at 435. I am sure the cut off will come down to 438 in May. I am hoping for a couple of back to back draws so that it will come down to 435. At 438 you're fine, you should wait before reappearing for IELTS.

I am at 438. Created the profile on 30th december 2017. Tie breaker rules really seems to make ITA uncertain now !
You're right. If you're exactly on the cut-off then your luck depends on the cut-off and there is no way to know how long people with your score are waiting and what the tie-breaking time would be. Good thing for you is that 438 is still a good score and it could get cleared in the next two or three draws without the need for a tie-breaker.
