Ha ha. I was just catching up on all the posts as well saw this one. I was about to do the same as you and off on one about my 20 year wait and starting my second year in the pool when I thought I would read on first. By the time I'd read all the comments I was just too tired and my frustrations had gone. :)

I guess people don't and ultimately can't know what journey each other has had to get to this point. It's a bit like the people who don't want to pay for the nominations and the extra hoops they have to jump through. I bite my tongue to be honest when I read that, as I would pay in a heartbeat. But that's seeing it through my eyes where $1,500 isn't that much. But I understand the arguments that those people make, I just don't agree with them and that's fine.

But the real point I'm trying to make is that I've been reading this forum since 66 and contributed (for what my contributions are worth) since 67 and the reason I do is the people. There's such a great bunch on here (with possibly one exception, Dsxxx but he's gone). This is a long and hard road for us all and having friends like you guys on here to keep me motivated has been immense. I won't always agree with all of you, but I will try and put myself in your shoes.

This is the Ray of Hope thread and to me that means optimism, encouragement and above all friendship. God bless all of you. (Except him who's gone ).
I bite my tongue so much on this thread that I'm afraid I'll be entering Canada tongueless :p

Let's say God bless all of us, including the one who was pessimist ;), let's hope he will come back one day as a nice one to share his journeys without us. Hope (under another user name) he won't attack everyone on Wednesday :D (Big and special day, ROH day, Blessing day and CRS cut-off falling down day :p) All the best dear friends!!! :)

Site is under maintenance, so may be we have a draw on wednesday
My prediction is 428.
Prediction based on assumption (like 3700 is average ITA)
based on standard per day per range application, I have created one program (Prediction programs are not always right but for the timepass I have created one in python) which says
Distribution will look like following on Wednesday
1200-600 =182.0,
600-450 = 949.0,
450-440 = 712.0,
440-430 = 1511.0,
430-420 = 1965.0,
420-410 = 4282.0,
410-401 = 4588,
390-400 = 4003

Please consider that this distribution is based on many assumption like
the last draw distribution + perday application in everyrange * number of day between next draw.
So I assume next draw distribution is more or less like this. and if thy will give 3700 ITA (average ITA from 4th jan 2017 to till date) then score might be 429.

But please it's my assumption. and do not take it seriously.

The wait of 1 month is killing you? Are you for real? There are people here including me who are waiting their chance for more than 8 months! Have patience dude and a little more respect to other people! Thanks!

Hi Folks!

I need some help regarding claiming points for work experience. I have worked from July 2012 to May 2014(22 months) under job code 4163 as a market researcher/consultant. Post that I went for my masters from June 2014 to Feb 2016. i started working again in June 2016 and my current job duties match with both NOC 4163 and 1123. I do not want to screw up my application due to the overlap by claiming points for 3 years work ex.
Is it okay if I just claim points for my earlier work ex under NOC 4163 for 1 year work ex? I will manage somewhere between 444 and 456 depending on my IELTS result (due on 21st June)

Further, I do not wish to inform my current employer about the process. I can download an employment letter from our internal portal but will not list my job responsibilities. I guess it is required to show the current employment.
I just filled out my EE profile. The system lets you enter in all your work experience, no matter how old (mine dates back to 1998 and spans 4 NOC codes, and I entered it all). So just enter in all of your work experience and you should be fine.

Created the profile in March 2017. I have 384 points and have 3 IELTS attempts to claim additional 50 points with the following score:

21/Jan/2017 L78.5 R8.5 W6.0 S7.0
27/April/2017 L7.5 R6.5 W7.0 S7.0
24/June/2017 L8.5 R7.0 W6.0 S7.0

Need advice from the fellow aspirants.
Should I take another IELTS attempt?
Can anyone who has improved their writing and reading scores help me sharing the approach they took?
Will joining any coaching help?
Is there any good coaching in Noida/Delhi for IELTS?
Hey, I strongly suggest you should go for re-evaluation ONLY for your Writing score. I had the same situation where I got a score of 6.5 in writing but after re-evaluation it got increased to 7.5. Also, there is an IELTS coaching center in Hauz Khas(Aurobindo Place), there are pretty good. Not sure what the name is but they are the only one there if you want to give it a try. Best of luck!

Are profiles submitted tomorrow included? I just ask because of the possible site maintenence today.

Best of luck to everyone, with the job market doing well and hopefully a shorter time since last draw, I hope that everyone gets an ITA soon.

Good luck, fingers crossed
