this draw clearly shows CIC didnt want to increase the CRS cutoff., and at the same time, they dont want to drop the cutoff by too much. Definitely gonna drop to 400s in the next 4 draws. next draw gonna be 415, then 408, then 401 and plateau at the range

Next cut off is not fixed, it is varying based on the date of the next draw..

If the next draw happens tomorrow, yes it can reach close to 400 immediately..If there are 3 consecutive draws this month, then yes again the cut off can reach 400 by end of this month..

But then if the next draw is after 3 weeks, the cut off can go above 430 too..

So the only hope is draws happening with lesser gaps..Preferably 1 week gaps..Like what happened in April (3 draws in 3 weeks)..

count the difference between total pool member and you will notice a reduction of about 600. so net addition to the pool in these 2 weeks of about 3200 people yet there were 3800 people above 423. how did this happen? because 1. Many people improved their scores. 2. Many people who had high scores declined the previous ITAs and got again. 3 people with high scores couldnot complete and submit their applications in 90 days and came back Into the pool.

Chill out. all these points to a decrease in scores in coming draws although a gradual one.

You missed one more point,
4) New entrants who decide to migrate to Canada now and submit their EE profile after today's draw..

And the data which is available now on the CIC website is as of April 28.

On April 19 there was a draw with CRS 415 as cut off..So that means after the draw on April 19, there would be 0 profiles in EE pool with CRS 415 and above..But within 9 days on April 28, the below are the number of people who got added..
Above 600: 113
451-600: 1023
441-450: 318
431-440: 462

So total profiles getting added with CRS above 431 in 9 days = 113 + 1023 + 318 + 462 = 1916
Average number of profiles getting added with CRS above 431 per day = 1916/9 = 212

I just came here to tell everyone do not panic. Almost 1.2K above 450 means PNPs were issued. It will come back down in the next draw.
Also, the number in lower segments has not increased significantly. Just a slight raise in candidates between 400-10. And only 2K between 410-420. That is really great for people who already in the pool!

And it will go below 410 in the next draw!

if one gets PNP then he gets additional 600 points which means his score should be more than 600 and number of applicants above 600 are only 113. am i right to say that.

The above scenario can only happen if there are 3 draws in the next 3 weeks..With the same number of ITA's being issued (i.e., around 3700-3800)..

Would like to add one more point. There were a certain # of people who were already in the pool with low IELTS scores. They improved their scores and were bumped to higher scores. I believe now there wont be a lot of old profiles left in the pool who need to improve their score. So now people with first time IELTS test will be entering the pool and it will take them some time to get to the CLB level 9. I think that window might help people with scores in low 400s. But its just my opinion which could be very wrong

Apparently the latest cutoff was 423 and I haven't received any email notification that an ITA was supplied.

Oh well, time to say goodbye to this I guess.

I am the most unluckiest person here. I missed it by 1 point. I am at 422 points. I hope next draw comes soon with decline in the points. Why AINP doesn't have points in Express Entry?

First draw on April 15th- 423 points. Missed it!

Second draw on April 19th- 415 points. Didn't get invitation bcoz my profile was inactive as I didn't registered with Job bank bcoz l was foolish enough not to read the message in my profile by CIC.

And now the latest draw May 4th- 423 points. Missed by one point again.

Only satisfaction is l applied paper application for Permanent Resident after AINP in March 2017. So kind of l can just wait for EE.

Another thing, AINP doesn't gives you 600 points in Express Entry lol.

I hope next draw will be for me finally.

Based on the current trends, If the next draw happens on or before May 18, you are in..Be ready for receiving the ITA..

If the next draw happens on May 19 or later, you might continue your unlucky streak!
