Got invitation and had to decline because of a massive mistake of having mentioned start date of a job as 2014 when it is 2016. Waiting on 420 points for next invitation round.
You will get it for sure

Re: Ray of hope 61th draw

Few Queries pls:

1. What are the benefits/advantages of accepting OINP-NOI? Is it only for ITA or it does have some other benefits as well?
As I know, By accepting the OINP-NOI, It will again lengthen the ITA process and ended up paying 1500 CAD.
So, is there any other benefits (like Job Offer/interviews etc.) that OINP is offering ?

2. I am afraid about the Reference letter from my 1st Employer. Can I delete the experience from the profile completely ?
By deleting the experience, I would be still having 7 years experience from 2nd and 3rd employer.
Doses it have any adverse effect in my CRS or any problem raised by CIC in future?

Sorry for long explanation.....Thanks in advance..

Re: Ray of hope 61th draw

Hi guys!

Im waiting for my spouse's ECA and IELTS. I will be around 415-420 level in a months time hopefully. DO I have a good chance for direct ITA or should I look for OINP (I received NOI this month)?

THanks!

You max out your CRS points after 3 years of work experience. You have 7, so it should be good. Make sure you satisfy the FSW points requirements after removing that work ex. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp

Re: Ray of hope 61th draw

I am at 375 now. I know it is low but I will re-take my IELTS (next sched is either mAy 13 or June 3) to get atleast S-7.5 L-8 R-8 W-7 and raise my points to 419. :)
I missed on Listening by 0.5 last time and got only 7.5 :(
I hope the drop continues though...My hopes are up!

I had same question in mind. If i were to remove a work experience, do i redo the "come to canada" test to generate the number, which i then use in EE profile.
I didnt do my EE profile submission, my agent did. So, i do not know what is required to create EE profile. I did the 67 points eligiblity test simply to know my score and got some code in the end and a message saying i need to use the limited validity code to create my EE profile.
So, if this is true, do i have to re-do my FSW test(67 points) as well as create new EE profile?

You do not need to re-do it. Just calculate your points orally without that work experience. Most of the time, it stays the same, specially if you have more than 5 years of work experience after removing certain experience. For CRS points, work ex max out at 3 years but for FSW points, it max out at 5 years. So this calculation is needed for people in between these situations.
