in regard to the EE candidate rank matter, i agree with you totally, but let us be fare here, i think that the Express Entry System; the Six Selection Factors,and the Comprehensive Ranking System, is one of the most Transparent systems in the world.

i didn't ever see an immigration system that provide this abundant information of how i can apply ...etc, and the mechanism of choosing candidates is one of the fairest mechanisms you can find, you get points for what you have.
All what we have to do is just to follow the rules.

My friend, have you ever read about the Diversity Lottery for United States Permanent Residence, and how they choose people ?
they choose people by Computer, by Random Selection. :-X :-\ :'(

I agree with you that the EE system is very fair and transparent but the fact that CIC have mentioned about displaying individual rankings suggests that they are looking to make further improvements to the system, and that is what all of us are hoping for...

Thank you for posting this inspirational story! +1 to you! By the way, I am also a girl from Russia and also entered EE with 451 points. But have been waiting since June 2016. Now increased to 459 and hoping to get an ITA in the next 2-3 months.

Every 2 weeks approximately, there was 23 draws in 2015. and 27 draws in 2016.

Offtopic: If I do not respond to an Invitation to Apply by the deadline (WorkingHolidayVisa), I will be no longer in the pool and would have to apply again. That's clear.
But does it have an effect on my future applications, does it count as I have "used" it??

Same thing with PR ITA, it doesn't affect anything. Basically they don't even care, since it's all system handled.
So no since you did not apply and there was no application received and hence no decision made, it does not count.

Yes but don't forget that last year many had already applied through paper application, also the system is becoming more popular, therefore I expect more candidates in the pool this year. Of course as you said earlier the report will show us exactly what's up!

Just missed my WH ITA (I wanted to submit my docs on Sunday and I didnt know I'd had to pay Fees immediately, and there's no bank open on Sunday..) and today my profile got locked because I forgot my password and was in a hurry! Stupid. When I mess up, I mean I reaaally mess up. Let's try again haha.
