I wonder what the fuss about helping int'l students was all about! The new draw doesn't seem to make any difference. Last CRS before the "changes" was 472, int'l students get btw 15-30 extra. lastest CRS 497! How did that really "help"?

Lol, good catch. So it means no new students are technically getting ITA. It seems people who got ITA with extra points would have got even without extra points.

As i expected the extra points for the international students messed the cutoff scores real bad so for me it seems that people with a canadian education now or a pnp are the only real candidates to have any proper chance

My CRS score is 518 still didn't receive ITA yet

1936 is still a good number considering that it is end of yr with christmas holidays looming. And lots of people were saying that there will be no draw. And below 500 CRS is also a positive sign after seeing OINP has pumped up lot of noms between 1st to 10th december.

Well technically 497 is below 500 but it is way way closer than 450 or 470 or even 480.
Plus the draw was decent (estimating like 1300 applicants without PNP). And now you have no low scoe LMIA applicants there anymore. But you got suddently whole bunch of NATA or int students with work exprience there in the high positions.

497 is not achievable score for anybody without Canadian work experience or diploma (except of PhD).
