Thanks all for your advice.

One more question. If I apply for PR through PNP but I'm so lucky that later the EE score drops to touch mine, can I quit the PNP program and apply federal one? As far as I know, it takes almost a year, or maybe longer to get the docs processed through PNP.

I think so, but think you'll have to have confirmation it's been cancelled before submitting your eApr as cic might ask you to wait for a PNP result before they process your app. No real idea, just a suggestion.

I know we have had almost certain confirmation that the next draw won't be till 14th, but HOW MENTAL would this place be if they did a draw today? Whatever the score people WOULD be going crazy!!

Fellow Chinese applicants who applied through OINP before receiving direct ITA as FSW had met the followings:

1) Some sent emails to Ontario saying that they have received ITA as FSW and requested a withdrawl of PNP application, which Ontario did as told.

2) Some received emails from Ontario saying that it would stop processing the applicants' PNP application since the applicants had received direct ITA.

Therefore, I think the answer is YES. You can go ahead with PNP application, and withdraw if u receive a direct ITA in the future, though I am not sure about whether PNP processing fees would be paid back or not.

Can someone give me some encouragement that if I don't get 8+ on my listening section of IELTS on sat (and go up to 471 points) that I can just retake it and everything will be fine?.... flipping between the confidence of a native speaker and terrified that, like last time, I'm going to forget English.

well for listening i used to pretty much write down everything in the conversation... atleast all the important points.. then fill in the blanks later... what happens is many times you are busy writing an answer and you miss out on the next answer as you write...

i got 8.5 in listening 3 times out of 4 attempts (yes, i wrote this damn exam 4 times sigh) so i can assure you this works...

good luck

Hey kryt0n! Yes, I don't know why, but despite having read the email two days ago about the draws scheduled AFTER 12th, all of today's afternoon I was thinking "Man, what's the score going to cut off at today?".

Thank you! Three practise tests today - scored 38, 35 and 40.

It's multiple choice that gets me every time. I only know English and I just cannot hear them! At least last time my other tests were all straightforward and (almost) full marks CLB 10.

If you got the emails, it implied that there won't be any draws until AFTER December 12th. I'd be surprised (pleasantly) if there is a draw today.

I like how 3-4 weeks ago they promised to have 4-5 draws by the end of the year >:(

And you believed them? hehehe

We all received an email that said make sure your profile is OK by the 12th... This STRONGLY suggests the next general draw will be after the 12th... probably the 14th.

If we have anything today then it will probably be another PNP draw with scores around the 750 mark.

I think the 14th will probably be the last of the year as 21st is too close to their holidays and 28th will be bang on in the middle of their holidays...

I know I know:) but I mean why would you promise something if you know its not gonna happen. Just don't say anything... And yeah, I know. Mostlikely the draw will be on Dec 14th... but it will be such a nice surprise if there is one today as well.... :)_

I don't think they were expecting the new system to have been so broken :p
