Actually that's an old article written upon Trudeau winning the office. It is called "10 Changes Coming to Canada’s Immigration System With A New Government" and 20th October is the day it was published back then (2015), not the announcement that something will happen on that date. Also, you can check the comments under that article, they are all dated from 20th of October and later

Oh... My bad..... Thanks for the update....

looks like draw will be on wednesday...

expecting cut off score to be high, no of ITA will be over 1500, but cut off will be around 490 coz OINP has been handing out a lot of nominations last few days.... (my prediction)

By handing out nominations do you mean from last year?

Lots of people will get selected as benificiary of Oinp persons with only bachelors and low level of english and on ages in late 30s and 40s with 405-410 points. Because of OINP their points shoots up to 1005-1010 and they gets ITA. And people like damha sirah very young at age with masters education and CLB 10 English waiting to get in at 481 points that is not fair with this system.

what are saying? they all are waiting since last 1 year. if you are talking about points, damha sirah should have applied 6 months back, that time CRS score was not that high, this is fair bro. they all have sent $1500 as well.

I see what you are saying and somewhat agree.

It's definitely an imperfect system, but so is any system based on points rather than individual skills.

That's true not only for OINP but for other provinces as well. Some guys with CRS 300 and an occupation that is in-demand in some provinces may get nominated in 3 months or even less and the points rise to 900. And those at 450-480 are stuck...

Bro that option is available for everyone, wether you have 300 or 451.
Stop criticising if you are not in that PNP list. its fair race, who applies first get it first.
