If CIC start to issue 2000 ITA's, then you will get ITA this year.

No.

If they invite 2000 per draw for the rest of the year, then you have a good chance of getting it before the year's end. That is a BIG IF though.

You'll still be very high on points (presumably 470 or 471) after your birthday, so as long as the invite volumes dont drop below 1000 in the next few draws (hopefully they'll increase them) I think you'd be ok. Hope for the best!

FYI draws typically happen on Wednesdays ~midday or 1pm UTC, so the next one should be Wednesday 21st.

Honestly its much too difficult to say. No one knows how many candidates have more points than you, and no one knows how many ITA's will be issued in the next draw or beyond. There are too many factors involved. Hopefully the next draw will contain at least 1000 invites again (hopefully more!) and also lets hope the mid-year report is published soon as its overdue.

Presumably more points would come from IELTS? In which case it depends how many more points you could get and how confident you are of gaining the extra points. I personally think that if its only worth a handful of points (say <5) then it may not be worth it, but if you can gain say 10+ more points, then yes its worth it (remember it won't guarantee anything, just increases your chances).

In the last draw, the cut off score was 480+ and that resulted in 2,000 invites....So to get the cut off score lower, they will need to invite a lot more...2,500? 3,000?
