Is there any communication on whether the future draws for Express entry will be no program specific? It is a bit odd that I remember my representative told me the score was 700+ in the summer. But now we are looking at 490 ish. Why do they mix up draws like that? As far as I know there are many people scoring above 1000+ waiting for the draw.
Are you asking about PNP vs. no program specified draws? Your post is a bit unclear.

Sorry for the confusion. I just noticed recently all draws are no program specific (including people from PNP), so if there are more people from PNP joining the pool in the last 4 weeks, then the next cut off will be higher right? Those people had additional 600 points to their profiles.

PNP makes up a fairly low percentage of invites every draw, especially with the original draw sizes being restored. The bulk of high scores are coming from FSW and CEC profiles. The next cutoff will verty obviously be higher, but that's owing mostly to the two missed draws. Even if PNPs make the bulk of high scores this time around, one draw will flush out the 1000+ scores and the score will fall back into the 500-510 range very quickly.

To put it another way, yes scores will be higher. There may be a temporary spike into the mid 500s, but it will drop to the low 500s very quickly if draws are held consistently.

Dealing with USCIS is still worse than IRCC in every single way possible. At least with IRCC there's still a possibility of a valid pathway to immigration. With USCIS it's all luck based, and you wait years if not decades. Thin skinned Canada immigrants lose their minds when they don't get updates for a couple weeks. They wouldn't survive USCIS.
100% agreed! Canadian immigration is a breeze when compared to US immigration

What do you think, is there a chance for #237 this week?
Hopefully Jan 4th since it would be the first draw of the year.

I heard that CIC might not draw until April..There is a high possibility of starting a new draw from spring and just stop old draw now. I hope this isn't true.

If true, they may be doing that to clear backlogs of previous draws
