The poll was released by EKOS, one of the leading polling firms, on 29th August and here are its key takeaways!

1. Liberals have surged again! Gaining a strong 4 point lead over the conservatives!

2. Trudeau still the most favoured prime ministerial candidate leading over his closest rival, Andrew Scheer CPC, by a gigantic 8 point lead!

3. Liberals still expected to win the majority, with the probability of them winning pegged at a strong 39% as opposed to a weakly 25% for Conservatives.

And now, given that, Canada seems to be heading towards a historical election with liberals set to regain power at the centre, much to the dismay of Conservatives and haters.

Thanks for clarifying. This is exactly my point. Nothing is ever sure before it happens. So why don't you too just pocket your 'facts' about how Conservatives are going to blow liberals away?

Besides, you just agreed to the fact that underdogs can win. Liberals have been the underdog this entire season.

As for the pre polls, sure they don't matter. I, for one, don't even consider them that serious a representation of the actual mood of the masses. The reason I keep posting about those is just to ruffle your and reality's feathers. And daaammnn, does that work.

I need some information. Has anybody taken IELTS in Canada College, Montreal? I got the online results on Tuesday and but there was no mail from them about the results. I sent an online inquiry and they replied on Wednesday that they mailed the TRF. I am yet to get the TRF. The only thing that I am missing is the results date. I am not sure if I can give Tuesday as the results date. Last time, the results date in TRF was one day before the online results were made available. Any idea how many days it takes to get the TRF via canada post? Please help.

Hi All,

I just wanted to share this with people here as you all understand this the most - the anxiety and the restlessness that this waiting period comes with.

We, who decide to move abroad, do so with so much hope and courage but sometimes its just so bloody tiring. Sometimes you just meet these agents who make sure that your positive spirit is killed. Other times you meet people who makes you realise the temporariness of your situation but I guess its part of the deal that we need to swallow and move on with.

When I read these discussion here I feel really hopeful. So, thank you everyone for being so kind and helpful to each other. We need more of you all in the world.

I am at 456 now and I really hope that this situation ends on a good note for all of us. I wish the same for everyone :')

Hi Abhishek, As far as I know, for ICT, you can claim points only if

(1) You completed 1 year in Canada with the offer you are trying to use. I dont think you can use the work permit if you never travelled to Canada.
(2) You can show that you will have a job in Canada for 1 year after you get your PR. (May not be mandatory, but recommended)
