Wow perfect. I think you are right. It’s all about how you can answer like Canadian. That is why I was wondering that I am doing good with IELTS speaking and not with this CELPIP.
Should I still send for Re-evaluation? Just for speaking and writing?
And may be book next exam??
And one more question: why did you prefer Celpip over IELTS? Just curious. For me I suck at writing and IELTS reading.
Check the videos in the link first. you could be waisting your money paying for a re-evaluation. Figure out what it was you did wrong.

I chose celpip for it being computerized, cheaper, more testing opportunities, and the expressed rating.

When it comes to writing I often see literal translations in non-native English speaking people. Germans are notorious for saying “see us tomorrow” because that is what they say in German.

I see a lot of people here saying “I gave ielts/celpip”. You don’t give a test/exam. You sit a test/exam. i have no idea where the idea of “giving” a test comes from. Maybe it’s a literal translation from another language?

Those examples are basic things. And it’s the basic that will get you. Don’t over analyze. Don’t try to be super advanced if your basic English isn’t where it should be. Keep it simple and correct instead of advanced and screwed up. It’s so easy to get tangled up in complex sentence constructions, and misuse of advanced vocabulary and idioms.

Over analyzing is exactly what I did first time in the writing part. I had a good answer but blew it on how I answered it.

If you understand what the question is asking of you and how the question wants you to answer, half the battle is won.

Wow you guys are motivating me right now. I gave IELTS 3 times, and CELPIP 3 times and still struggling with reading and writing. I living in Canada for 5 years and still can’t get through this stupid tests. I was so upset that I still have to prove that I can right an essay and a letter even after being in Canada and working for many years in professional work environment where I send emails and letters thousand times.
I know..It is totally insane process. PM me if there is anything else I can share. I might have a few tips that I tried in my last two tests that gave me consistent writing 7. Not anything new, I just followed IELTSLiz.

Download Grammarly extensions to see how basic mistakes are made in even corporate English. Tests do not allow for such mistakes. Follow IELSTliz and E2 IELTS for detailed videos on Youtube. And practice all the official papers that you get when you book your exam. There is an online resource center, utilize that completely. These resources are good enough if you follow religiously.

Hi all,
I am new to this group. My CRS is 442 with CLB 9 and Masters. IELTS scores are LRWS 8.5,8.5,7 and 7. In a desperate attempt to get CLB 10, I have sent writing and speaking for EOR and awaiting the results.
In case if I get CLB 10, my CRS would be 448(still not good enough for EE), however, would drop to 443 by August 2 due to age.
If the scores remain the same, CRS after August 2nd would be 437.
My NOC is 0122 and I would like to know if there is any scope in getting a PNP nomination from Ontario or Alberta? This NOC is not in demand in most of the provinces.
I have been in the EE pool since November 2018.
Could I know if anyone from 0122 received OINP or AINP recently with scores of 440s or less?
Also, I heard Ontario invitations are only open to Tech!!
Thanks
I am somewhat similar, LRWS 8.5977, thinking of getting EOR for the writing and speaking. Currently at 450, would jump to 456 with CLB 10. I don't think it is worth the money to retake. I am hoping the score will drop back to 450 sometime within the next few months.
