Totally agreed in the case of fake profiles and deadlines. You're right. If OP is not confident reports will come before the 60 day deadline, definitely wait, as it would waste an ITA. That's another story.
I'm saying as long as it's within your allowance and what the system allows you to do, you're fine.
Agreed...
@Peacekeeper87 .. on a totally unrelated note, i would like to thank you for making me aim high to get CLB10 in IELTS. This line in your signature "So, aim high, not just the minimum to be eligible!" was the reason, i was able to maintain a sharp focus during my IELTS attempt. Thanks again mate!

Let's wait for today's draw to happen and will be more happy if ITA's are increased as predicted.

Good one, but I would be more happy to add "ITA Received Date" instead of IRCC Draw Analyst :)
Sure sure.. you will get that happiness soon ...:):)

Oh! I am so glad I could be of help! Congratulations on your good score!
I always try to push people to aim for the highest possible language scores, as there are some very precious points up there! Very often, those additional points can make miracles happen, especially considering that may prospective applicants are sitting on the edge in terms of points. Languages are one of the most overlooked elements when it comes to points. Many applicants don't want to retake languages tests after poor or average results, or simply aim for scores that would allow them to enter the pool.
Hey, Congrats man!

Suit yourself.
It's not a "bad" practice. The system allows you to change some of your info, like ECA and IELTS. The system is made such way...
And you're reading way too much into a common practice.
Only change of points are scrutinised after ITA, and it's only a problem if you drop below the round minimum.
And no you won't be asked for a "original" document.
But people should do if they have at least one IELTS result and ECA is expected. isn't it?

Thats good analysis. Can we factor in WES lots/students passing out etc? I mean are there any other factors contributing to more people above 450?
Yes, this factor is considered too. That's why I mentioned "Considering 2K applicants (451+) will be added between ABC Date to XYZ Date".

All the senior folks in the group,

I am confused. Pls suggest what should be the best course of action.
I created the EE profile on 22nd April 2019. Score 449

IELTS- 8.5, 8.5, 7.0,7.5 (13th Oct'18)-- if I attempt again and score a 7.5 in writing, my score increases 3 points
ECA- Masters Rcvd after a wait of 5 months from WES on 22nd April
Experience- 10+yrs
NOC- 2173
Age- 35 yrs

Spouse
IELTS 9, 7.5,6.5, 7.5
ECA Masters
Experience 10+ yrs
NOC 2173

Shall I try for IELTS again and try to increase the score by 3 points? Or shall I be patient.

P.S. my b'day is in March so that's not a worry..

Good luck for today's draw. It's coming hopefully with lots of itas. In 30 minutes an official work time starts in Ontario. A bit more patience friends.
