Hi Shishir,

I see that you have already obtained your PCC before receiving ITA. I am awaiting my WES with CRS 474. I expect ECA to be done in another 1.5 months.

Should I obtain my local PCC now or wait for ITA. What do you suggest.

I am in dilemma whether the PCC will be accepted by IRCC if it is before the ITA?
You can apply for PCC before ITA. PCC is valid for six months. No issues if you get it done before ITA. However, if you don’t have ECA, it would be better to apply for PCC after getting ECA report. In most of the countries, you can get PCC within a week.

Lol not leaving you behind. You are retaking the test, so u would also be tagging along. You may as well get to 447/450/453/456 and might actually get ahead of all of us!
Oh, very optimistic !! Thanks mate! I'm also looking forward to get either 453 or 456. That's my aim!
Dear Nik , Good luck for your coming attempt , i pray for you to get maximum this time , i was also at 444 , ielts cleared in may 2018 , after that wes suck my blood badly they took 5 months , and they evaluate my mba to pg diploma , entered in the pool with 444 on 9th feb , i was thinking it will be cake walk . but suddenly crs went up to 457 , in may first week after research i had sent my documents to ces , on 9th , and lucky i got rush service , and my result came out with master and got 7 valuable points and sitting at 451 now ,
noboday knows what will happend in future my suggestion to all is look at all available options to increase your crs because nowdays competition is very high there is no harm to improve the crs am also planing to go for ielts again

But my heart saying crs will drop again in second half will touch again 440 mark . only the matter of some draws with increased in number of ita ,
my wife always ask me one question (when we will get ita ) there is no answer after long struggle , nowdays i love Wednesday more then weekends,

i can feel whats is going in the mind of those folks between 440-450 , in my opinion patient is only key , meanwhile give quick look to all your cards maybe you have game changer in your hand ,

lastly wishing good luck to all for todays draw i know this is not mine, but i know HAMARA TIME BI AAYEGA so keep motivating each other ,i ll celebrate that day (ita day )with my wife and will book table for fine dine

All the best to all Applicants

Come on CIC we are waiting for the surprise

Chak De

Thanks
Thanks a ton buddy! Yeh, my utter focus is now at CLB 10 only. Thus, doing every possible thing to increase the scores. Because waiting for nothing is highly inadmissible.
Good luck with your exam. A small difference in results makes a huge difference with CRS. Wish you all the best.
Yep, you're absolutely right! Thanks a lot man!

No, It's customary to post this when you make the cut: "I have <insert score here>, still haven't received the ITA"
And then some one posts this with some funky font: "ITAs will be issued within 24 hours"
Lol... true story after every draw.. it has become a ROH tradition it seems.

Thanks a ton mate for the appreciation! I really admire it.
Anyways, sooner or later we all will sail through this anxiety period. Its just a matter of time. Letvs see what will be the ITA figure today?
Meanwhile, I'm also preparing myself for the final shot of exam, only 2 days left now.
Good luck for your IELTS buddy, I'm sure you'll make it and add more points to your existing score.

Also, I hope you get your ITA before you become a Champion member here!!

Today, I’m really hopeful that CIC will increase the number of ITA’s now onwards. Today's draw seems to be a game changer for all of us.

Not to forget, draw date always reminds me great folks names (mentioned below) who're always there to keep this thread alive and bring positive vibes with their amazing posts. Even if their turn has not yet come since their scores are below 450, but they're standing next to each other and faced the most challenging phase of ITA's so far. Respect!!

@NikSharma01 @Shaanoh @Shishir Chandra Kumar @EnthuChap

Undoubtedly, today's draw brings excitement, anxiety and hopes for many of us since we all have been waiting for FST draw from the last 4 weeks.
  • Congratulations in advance to those who has above 458 score, it's their time to celebrate today :)
  • Good luck to those who has 455-458 scores, they might be picked up today too:)
  • Patience to those who has 451-454 score, they can expect their turns in the next round for sure :)
  • Salute to those who has 450 score & below, they're the real fighters and they don't need any motivation since they're self-motivated and will never quit until they WIN :)
PREDICTION FOR TODAY'S DRAW:
CRS Cut-Off: Above 458
Expected ITA's: 3,750/3,900

Good Luck Everyone!!
This journey has been a test of patience for many of us Nitin. But we sure made lot of good friends in this journey. I really hope to join you guys in Canada some day...:):):)

You can apply for PCC before getting ITA. You have very good score. Surely you can apply now.

The reason i applied too early for PCC is that i have different address (ODISHA) in passport and my current residence is in different state (MAHARASHTRA). I have seen folks with this scenario getting PCC in more than 1-1.5 months, due to Police verification, and files getting Stuck in Police Commissioner office. I got mine in ~35 days.
So if your current address is in different state, and passport issued from different state. Prepare yourself for 1-1.5 months wait to get PCC, and apply early.
But if the address is same, then you will get it soon enough. Most of the people get it the same day they visit PSK for 1st time.
Hope this clarifies your doubt.

I see many posts regarding IELTS being a money making machine. I have observed, a couple of people whom I know got great scores overall but 6.5 in writing section, leading their overall score to drop and they have the same issues about IELTS. Isn't this unethical from them if this is kind of deliberate? I scored CLB 10 in my first attempt, but so many people surely cannot be wrong.

Anyway here is hoping for a few favourable draws now. Maxed out at 441, hoping for one of the PNP invites, considering my job code is 2171 as per the list. Hoping for OINP NOI, once my ECA report is completed by 4th June

I have a question.

I am currently residing in Gurgaon and working here and my permanent address and the address in the Passport is Dehradun.

Do I have to disclose my temporary address to PSK. I mean I can tell them I am residing in Dehradun and the PCC will be issued in a day.

Is it mandatory to disclose them the current residential address.?

Im going to ask you an absurd question because I know that there must be close to 50 million Akhils in India. It's ok to laugh at me :).

But since I only know 1 Akhil who also happens to be NOC 2171 - can you be the same one who used to work in Gurgaon, rode a Royal Enfield, drove a Mahindra double-cab, and led a team of digital health ICT experts?

Good luck everyone for today's draw!
I have been watching the ROH threads for several months and, although I am not in the pool yet, I kept fingers crossed for all of you each Wednesday. But I guess that today's draw is the most crucial for everyone, as it will probably tell us what to expect during the second half of the year.
Can't wait to join the pool too, but now I am waiting for the ECA report (due for completion on June 4th) and for IELTS results (should be ready in a day or two).

Let's hope for the best!

Ahaha, No that is definitely not me. Working with one of the big 4 audit firms. Not always in Gurgaon, and yes, don't know how to ride a bike :p

What will be your score after ECA?
This is my final CRS score , with just the Bachelor's degree.
