I have a hunch that there would be a draw on the coming Wednesday
Sorry to say but very unlikely a draw on coming Wednesday.

Undoubtely, CIC is upto speed with 2 weeks gap and 3350 ITAs till June end. We can only expect changes to ‘increased no. of ITAs’ and ‘1 week gap draw’ from Q3 onwards.

However, we all can expect a draw on Wednesday since there is always NO harm in such suprises. Fingers crossed!

True..that would be great if we have a draw this Wednesday...
However, I really don`t want another 3 weeks gap after that...that might screw us all further....

In the crs score there is a section of earning a canadian degree, diploma or certificate and it says distance education counts if it makes up less than half your study. Please advice if there is anyway of bagging these points through distance learning and not being physically present in canada

You can expect 3500 ITAs in the next draw but not more than that.

As usual, draw will happen on 2 weeks gap. Very less chances of draw happening on coming Wednesday.

Prediction- May 1 - CRS 450
ITAs - 3350/3500
I have similar feelings as well.
JAN 3900, 3900, b2b with 3350, and feb onwards not only a 3-week draw but also regular draws with as little as 3350 itas. Aisa kon karta hai bhai!

I wish, our expectations may come true. Your predictions seems reasonable but I read somewhere that EE is learning from previous years and would distribute itas homogeneously throughout the year.
Only IRCC as well as GOD knows what are their plans. Lets wait and see what comes next.

Hi guys,

My CRS is 438 with IELTS maxed out and ECA as Bachelors 4 year.

I’m now planning to go for 1 year PG Diploma as I have couple of years before CRS starts decreasing because of age..

Just wanted to check with you guys if this is the correct decision.

Also, if anybody has done any such course pls help me to choose institution and course.

Thanks in advance!!
But check which course is recognizable by WES and go for it. I am referring to WES because it is the fastest in terms of providing ECA report

If we all look at the above graph, it clearly states that the CRS score was higher last year too in Q1. Under Draw#5, they raised the score to 456 from 442. This year, Draw#4 is the evident of increased CRS score at 457.

So, it shows CIC (to some extent) is following the same pattern/trend the way they did last year. This time, the only major thing that we all can notice is - Increased intake of applications. Due to this factor, it will take sometime CRS score to get stable and will drop below 450 for sure.

Does the CRS get locked at ITA? Or on eAPR?

If its on eAPR, will it be the closest draw CRS score?

I'm currently on 454. Hoping to get ITA in the next draw. And my birthday is in June when i'll lose 5 points. Was just wondering if i should get all the documentation done within a month.

Once you get an ITA, all your information provided in the application form is locked at that point of time.

454 is a sure shot, you'll definitely get your ITA in the next round for sure. So, it's advisable you to start gathering your documents ASAP. The days to submit your eAPR with required documents is 60 days.

Thanks @13nitinsharma.

Yes. I've started collecting the documents. Hoping to submit them before June just to avoid any further issues.

Once you submit the documents post the ITA, you're given an Acknowledgement Of Receipt (AOR), either the same day or the other. After that applicants' files get locked and so the CRS. So, you won't be loosing any points due to the birthday during that.
