Hey SeniorStakes,
I don't agree with you. Look at the following calculations-

2017 targeted ITAs = 71400, issued = 86023 around 120.48%
2018 targeted ITAs = 74900, issued = 89800 around 119.89%

2019 targeted ITAs = 81400. They should issue either 97590 (119.89%), or 93610 (115%), or 91168 (112%), or 89540(110%).

I agree that ITA decline rate could be lower as compared to 2017 or 2018 but not 00.00%

Let's say if it is 10% then, also, there would be 89540 ITAs.
Till now ITAs issued = 17850. Remaining ITAs = 71690. Remaining draws, let's assume 2 in a month, =19. Which means 63650 more ITAs with 3350 ITAs or 81500 total ITAs in 2019. This does not make sense to me as the target is 89540 with 10% ITAs decline rate.

Now, if they have to accommodate 8040 additional candidates, they must increase the 423 ITAs starting from next draw or wait for 2-3 draws and continue issuing 3900 ITAs or conduct B2B draws.

Please let me know if I made any bigger mistake.

Thanks

Reading this post put smile on my face. Esp the "hey must increase the 423 ITAs starting from next draw or wait for 2-3 draws and continue issuing 3900 ITAs or conduct B2B draws". Gives me slight hope to get picked in next draw. :p

Cheers

This is no more a Ray of Hope. This looks like a floodlight of hope.. Feeling hopeful of getting ITA sooner than what the current draw trend says. Thanks @skg1988 !!!!

Hey nolimits,
I am in the same boat as well, @445 with the birthday in sep..LOL!
By seeing the last year trend, I believe that they will increase the number of ITAs in April. Let's wait and pray for the increased number of ITAs as back to back draws seems illogical to me and completely depend on LUCK!
Same boat with you. 445 my birthday is on May. Still lucky for you both

Guys I’m at 447 and my ielts expires in October this year. I’ve cleared my masters today. So I’m
Expecting my crs to boost up to 479. But the things is my bachelors degree is not accepted by Wes, Although I’ve already got an eca for
My bachelors degree of iqas in 2018. Now what should I do to get an ECA ASAP. My masters degree or the university is recognised by Wes but not my bachelors

Your IELTS expires by Oct. ECA from IQAS takes 6 month on avg. Go and file it asap and with the Master's evaluation, your CRS of 479 will be an automatic pick anytime the draw happens. I am not sure if you can submit two ECA's from each institution for Bachelor's and Master's. Or else I'd suggested to go with WES. Good luck to you.

Thank you so much. I have a question regarding gift deed. As I don't have sufficient funds in my account right now, so can I get a gift deed from my sister or it must be given by parents only ?
Yes, you can get a gift deed from your parents or sister both. Please make sure you follow the right format. See the below link:

Get your Masters evaluated. No need to include bachelors. You’ll be fine.

The targets which you quoted(71400 and 74600) are not ITA targets. They are the approved PR number target. Thats the reason they issue far more number of ITAs by taking into account the rejection rate.

But your calculation makes perfect sense on the ITA numbers which IRCC need to issue, in order to meet their targets for this year.

Get your Masters evaluated. No need to include bachelors. You’ll be fine.
The thins is I have a bachelors in electrical engineering but I’ve done my masters (MA)
In English literature. Now MA English can be done done by doing a two years bachelors degree or it could be done after doing a 4 years bachelors degree, now my question is how would WES know that I’ve done a 4 years bachelors degree prior to compelting my masters degree? As they dnt recognises my university from whom I’ve got a bachelors in engineering from. Would they award me an equivalency of a bachelors degree in Canada ??

If you’ve Masters degree (the higher in your case), only get it evaluated. No need to worry about bachelors. Send your Masters degree for ECA and it will be equivalent to Masters Canada.

I am SORRY to say that , you will be REJECTED during the PR process , if you DONOT have ECA for Bachelors.

To get points for Maters degree, it is MANDATORY to have ECA for both Bachelors and Masters

I understand brother but my concern is that the masters I’ve done could be done by doing a two years bachelors degree but I’ve done it after doing a four years degree. Now WES dnt recognise my bachelors degree as the university is not on their portal but they do
Accept my masters. I know I can only send my masters degree but how would I get an eca equivalent to a masters in Canada when my masters programe could have been done after doing a 2 years bachelors degree. I
