Hi there,

I may bring some quilts when arriving to Canada.Do I need to fumigate these?
What if if these quilts are brand new and are in sealed condition?

thanks
D

I don't think it will be a problem but here's the agency that deals with importation of food, plants and animals: http://www.inspection.gc.ca/english/agen/agene.shtml If you contact them, they should be able to tell you if quilts are a problem.

You can also contact the CBSA: http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/menu-eng.html and ask them.

bro, why do u want to bring in a simple thing like a quilt? it is dime a doz here. bring in your memorabilia instead.
