Quick question: "Interview IP (date)"

On a lot of people's timelines (under their avatar) I see the interview field say "IP (date)" I've searched around and I'm just seeing tons of threads about other questions. The two words are too general for finding the answer. I just want to know when someone writes IP and a date, what does this mean?

Ah, so they are just noting when the application notes changed to "in process" and using the interview field?

Exactly. A lot of people don't get an interview and noting the IP date is more useful for those people.
