Howdy everyone!
My wife (South Korean) and I (Canadian) are currently living in South Korea and preparing her application for Canadian residency. There is one thing we're kind of confused about, I'm hoping someone here can help us out.
On form IMM 0008 in the section about dependents, it states: You must include... all of your dependent children, and those of your spouse or common-law partner, who are not already permanent residents or citizens of Canada.
Our kids already have their Canadian citizenship certificates, so am I right in assuming that they shouldn't be listed in this section? It just seems weird that we have kids but don't list them as dependents, but the wording seems to imply that.
Also, when paying for the application and all related fees, I'm guessing as well that we shouldn't be paying the dependent child fee? It says on the website "Include any dependent child on an application with your spouse or partner" for a $150 fee, but that's just for processing non-citizen children, right?
