I looked it up online, getting a new NS PNP under EE stream which requires Canadian working experience but I am not sure if a LMIA is mandatory. Anybody have informatin on that?

I applied...no you don't need an LMIA. This stream was mainly created to make it easier to apply for NS PNP as you don't need the 200 form signed by employers which many are refusing to sign.

Hi riddymon- Did you heard back from them, how much time does it take?

From application to nomination took 2-3 weeks...

I believe you have more than 1 year's experience in NOC B, you should be alright. Most provinces are only really looking for NOC O, A and B now.

Hi Riddymon,
Im from pakistan, and I m thinking of applying to NSPNP under EE. I have 380 points, so i wont be selected under FSW. What is the probability of getting nominated under NSPNP. Are sure it takes 2 to 3 weeks? Im an IT graduate with 4 years of experience. I come under Slkill type A NOC 2171 .What are my chances of getting nominated?

The Nova Scotia Experience: Express Entry nomination stream takes 2-3 weeks (requires nova scotia work experience though). However, the Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry stream (which is what the majority of people here are applying through) takes much longer. As you can see...most people receiving nominations currently submitted their applications in Jan/Feb/Mar.

Apply asap, however, seeing how the NS Demand stream has been open since January, not sure of what your chances are for this year. They haven't closed off the stream yet though so it's best to just apply and see what happens. NOC 2171 is in demand so that shouldn't be an issue. Apply and see how things go.

Please does anybody here know if Nova Scotia reassigns the Provincial Nomination to a new profile once I decline my ITA?
