Hi experts,

I would like to ask about some boxes needed to be filled in this form.

In the area "Details of Intended Study in Canada"

Tuition
Refers to the total period of studies? for example if each year is approximately 13000 dollars and the duration is 3 years then I have to fill this box with 39000?

Room and Board
I have nothing to mention, so I have to fill with N/A?

Other
I have to fill with the cost of books of 3 years or 1 year?
Transport? means about the tickets from my country to Canada and vice versa?
Pocket money means the 10000 dollars that I have to my bank account?

and finally Funds available for my stay

I have to fill for example:
39000 tuition fees of 3 years (paid 13000)
+ 10000 bank account
+ 2000 air tickets
= 25000?

Please respond to my questions!

Thank you in advance

For Tuition Fees: you are right, you will have to mention full fees

For Room and Board: I think here you should mention 30,000 (10,000 for each year),

For Other: mention it if any other cost in your acceptance letter is included (like registration fees, health insurance, student services fees). Can't say about Traveling Cost whether it should be included in it or not.

So room and board is actually the living expenses of 10000 of each year and I must say for example 30000?

Yes... Living Expenses is $11,000 per year for Quebec and $10,000 for rest of Canada...
"Other" is not important... Just fill Tuition and Room & board...
Other - Just put some amount...

i think it says "Cost of my studies" which means one has to write his/ her full tuition fees and same will go for "Room and Board".
However they will evaluate our funds if it is enough for 1st year at the moment.

Hi,
I think, You should have to mention Just Fees for one year and Room and Board as well. The other expanses, include inCAD10000 so there is no need to fill in them.
In short, none of them need showing for 3 years.

Could anyone clearly tell whether we have to show Tuition Fees and Living expenses for 1st year or for the entire course in that Study Permit form...

I am curious about this question.

The numbers we have to put is for one year? Or for All the duration of the studies?
Room and board?
Other?

Please if someone send his application let us know what you put there?

Confused! Because cic does not explain in detail!

No it's wrong. I inquired about this via email to Concordia University's International student adviser and she replied that it was for the entire course of study. So this question is not resolved. Could anyone clear this, or call VFS or Canadian embassy and clear this...
