question about work experience as graduate research assistant in Canada

I have studied and at the same time worked as a graduate research assistant (GRA) in Canada for two years. This is the only work experience I have claimed in my EE profile. Based on this I have met the federal skilled worker criteria. However, I have been given zero points for Canadian work experience. So does anybody know why while my work experience as a GRA has been enough to make me eligible under federal skilled worker, it has not been recognized to give me any points under Canadian work experience? Have you had the same experience?

It won't give any CRS points as such is simply the case when one studies full-time and works in Canada.

You cant get points since it was in Canada. If it was overseas, you would get points for it.

I guess it's my bad lock. My GRA in Canada does not count as Canadian work experience and I have also been on a scholarship (for my PhD) in the states for two years which pays more than a GRA but it seems it does not count as work experience either.
