Hi there, new to the forum but somewhat experienced in US/CA immigration over the last seven years. My wife and I currently live in the United States and are moving back to Canada next month. She is a Canadian citizen (she lives here with US permanent residency) and I am a United States citizen. We have 1 child together and I have 2 children from a previous marriage. A little over a month ago I submitted all the required paperwork to get our child's citizenship certificate from Canada since she is a citizen through her mother.
With my wife sponsoring me, I know that I as the principal applicant need to list my 2 children as dependents, but do I need to list our child as a dependent, who I have already submitted citizenship certificate paperwork for? I have been searching the internet for hours and have not been able to find anything on this subject.
