So you do not have any dependant children (either of you) and you are not including any in the application (as you don't have any)?

So NO would be the answer surely? Am I missing something?

He/she is asking if she/he should put a check mark on it and then select no. It can be confusing for some people, as it would seem like it does not apply to them since they do not have any children and therefore they could leave all that section blank, which is not the case. You should read the message again since you missed that. And no need to be rude at all just because you know the answer and the person here asking for help does not.

thank you.

thank you so much.. so leave that section blank right?
i have a one more question if anything doesn't apply to me should i need to write n/a on the check list? or leave it blank?
thank you.

No, don't leave it blank. Check the box right on the left of the question, right beside the number 3. Then check the box where it says No and leave the rest of question number 3 blank. If something doesn't apply to you on the forms, you should put N/A just to be sure (not applicable) and in some cases you can leave it blank, the guide would tell you when you can leave it blank

If it says, for example, if you selected no, then go to question #whatever then you know you can leave it blank on the checklist

You can't write N/A on it, there's not a place there where you can do that. You don't have children, but you still have to answer that questions. So check mark the question and also your answer which is no. Do not leave it blank

hello. i called immigration and citizenship canada yesterday they said "just check in the NO box". what do you think? i'm totally confused.

Do as I said before, it is how I did it and I'm 100% sure it's the right way to do it. Check the box right at the left of the question, right beside the number 3. Then check the box where it says No and leave the rest of question number 3 blank.
