Question about CHC-ISB

i have quick question about CHC-ISB. Please let me know i want to call to CHC-ISB to confirm wether they 've recieved my Spousal's application yet or not.Should i talk with them in English or My own language?It 's been over one month hasnt get AOR yet.Do i have right to call for this matter aswell.I need answer (AsAP).

I have no knowledge about Islamabad embassy but what I think is that there could be some Pakistani staff at the enquiry desk of the Visa Section, who could even speak in your language as well as in English.

Thanks for your reply,, i just spoke with them over the phone.A lady picked my call and was saying you have to send email.for that we cann't provide info over the phone.

Hi Desi_Canadian

My wife received AOR today which was dated for April 27, 2010. Took 1 day shy of 2 months from the date application was transferred to Islamabad.

AOR was letter was written 12 days after file was transferred and Im unsure why delivery took so long.

I hope yours along with others who have not received AOR get letters soon.

I appricate for you kindly reply.So thats mean i have to wait till 2 months for AOR my wife will get (Insha ALLAH).i am thinking to write email to them regarding this matter.Wether they got my sponsor's application or not yet?Keep in touch.

Hi Desi_Canadian,

Your timeline is pretty close to ours, so InshAllah your AOR will arrive shortly. Also check your ecas status as my status also changed today to in process.

If you decide to email enquiry, it is your right and below is some information on how long CHC-ISB's response to email enquiries is if you have not already seen this from the CHC-ISB website:

"Service Standards
Our office is committed to respond to your enquiry within following service standards:

All enquiries will receive an acknowledgement of receipt within 48 hours;

All enquiries will receive a substantive reply within 30 working days. (Repeat enquiries will be ignored).

We will respond to enquiries sent in either of the official languages – English or French. An answer will be provided to you using the most appropriate means of communication, not necessarily via email."


I believe you will receive AOR before you receive response from the enquiry.

i am happy to hear that your status has changed on ecas.i just check mine notthing yet chnged.I sent email to them yesterday.Lets see ,, if it takes one month to get reply(Insha ALLAH) i "ll get reply from them b4 their reply of my email.Keep in touch.
