Question about biometric fingerprint!

Hello everyone, I am in the process of PR application, and I got a question about biometric fingerprint, I'm wondering if anyone of you having the same issue, or any suggestions are appreciated.

I just got a Biometric Instruction Letter (BIL) yesterday (September 22), saying I will need to submit a biometric fingerprint. However, I have two problems to finish this.

1). I live in Vancouver, BC. All Canada service centres here are remaining closed for biometric fingerprint scanning service, which means I could NOT able to get this done. There are some private institution could do this, but I concern if the fingerprint from them would be illegible?

2). Even though I got this done, how do I upload the biometric fingerprint through the IRCC website? Because after I submitted my application, all the upload options are closed. In another word, I could Not upload any additional documents (aka fingerprint) on the website.

I am applying PR via Express Entry, and my current status showing ' your action is required', so I am wondering how to get this done ASAP. If anyone having this issue and found a solution, I would be really thankful for any advices you can provide.

You do not need to upload anything, service canada sends the fingerprints. Biometrics must be done at a service Canada point

Thank you for your reply. But all service canada locations are not taking any fingerprint appointment, should I just wait till they reopen? If so, will it delay my processing time tho? I just want to get this done ASAP.

Your application won’t be refused or closed if you can’t give your biometrics due to COVID-19 service disruptions.
