Hi folks,

I am preparing my work experience letter format. For example, if i have worked as software engineer in Company A for 6 months and then got promoted to Sr software Eng then is it required to include all these two positions in the letter ?? I have similar history for company B as well.

Please help.

The letter should include all the job titles, periods of employment and description of duties and responsibilities you performed in each position.

Provide me your e-mail and I'm gonna send my own reference letter to you.

I am currently working in 2nd company. As per the requirement, the letter from both the companies should include

--> specific period of employment within the company
--> Position held and time you spent in that position
--> responsibilities and duties in each position
--> total annual salary

My 1st company is reluctant to give this on a letter head. I only have a releaving letter from this company which only specifies time i worked in that company and last position.

Could you please let me know if there is any other way of getting around my problem?

Try to convince them to print out and sign a plain reference letter with your responsibilities and then add a letterhead to it, not a big deal :D
You may also contact some employee, e.g. your ex-manager or supervisor and ask him to make such letter for you.
