Hello,
Has anyone replied to a police certificate request by basically saying they can't get one because they would need to go to that country?
We're 2 and we really really don't want to cross the globe just to get a police certificate for the IRCC...
We've searched well and there's no way for a friend there to get us one or anything else.
You can get one if you request it from the embassy of your country.
Or you can authorize someone to go get it for you. I did the second and they mailed it here for me, it was the fastest.

I think you don't have to go anywhere, you can apply PCC from anywhere. in my case, I'm from India and i applied my PCC through BLS. there is another option, if you need PCC from your home country, you can tell anybody at your home and they can go to police station and can get PCC for you.

It is for South Korea and unfortunately the embassy does not provide the full records that the IRCC needs and the SK police do not accept representatives...

Just received the AR for the first application sent to the wrong address. I initially sent my package to PNP address and then called asking the agent what to do and the agent said she'd put a note in my file and to resubmit an application.

Well, dates are as follow:
DF (wrong address): 15 Feb 2021
DF (to the right address): 04 Mar 2021
XEP (right address): 01 Apr 2021 (April's fool joke)
XEP (wrong address): 09 Sep 2021

Sent webforms three times questioning what would happen in that case and didn't have any answer.

AR (wrong address): 9 November 2021

Successfully linked.
Biometrics approved already.
No documents requested. No medicals requested.

Yeah, thanks :)
Just did. I wasn't expecting this application to be directed to the right office.
At the time that I called IRCC, the agent was unware of what would happen and advised to resend, however she did think it would be redirected.
I just hope it doesn't impact the processing time :)

Looks like they are again requesting for medicals even if we have done medicals in last 5 years..
Anyone received medical request like this ?
Also any suggestions for quick medicals in and around Montreal ?

They shouldn't request your biometrics. I had mine taken when flag polling to renew my permit in 2019. They're valid for ten years

Not sure if they're going to ask me for my medicals, but there's a new change in the process: https://www.canada.ca/fr/immigration-refugies-citoyennete/organisation/mandat/politiques-directives-operationnelles-ententes-accords/exempter-certain-etrangers-canada-exigence-relative-examen-medical-immigration.html

Other than that, I see people going to industrial clinic for the medicals.

Biometrics is valid for 10 years.
Medical exemption is temporary policy and it will be in force only until Dec 28th. Your medical is valid if it's not older than 5 years and you didn't leave Canada more the 6months.

Actually it says:
A foreign national (principal applicant):

  • Has submitted an application to become a permanent resident or for a permanent residence visa and is physically present in Canada;
So I think if you have XEP, you can be considered as lrson who submitted application.

Team 2021- January here, just got my AOR, and unexpectedly my medical exam is checked as passed, I think they had the record when I did the medical exam before I came to Canada 5 years ago, my biometrics is passed, too. What should I expect next after that?
