That's quiet impossible to predict but there are a lot less applications since May 2020, so maybe processing will speed up.

I know I'm not gonna get my PR this year since I applied this year, but at least give me my AOR, that is all I ask for, for now.

Things seem to be moving for 2020 applicants. However not sure what is holding 2018, 2019 applicants..
Wish all 2020 applicants get their AOR this year. Waiting for messages like "Team Oct 2020" .

I think that the majority of CSQs are through PEQ program.
Personally I find only one reason to be optimistic. The fact that they give AOR to April 2020 applicants is very good for us (July 2020) as because of last year's (end of March- beginning of June) almost global lockdown, I expect only few applications to have been submitted between April and July. So if AOR means place in the annual Quota, and considering the fast processing time for the recent AORs, I believe that there are good chances to get our prs by the end of the year.

If you look into the amount of arrima invitations, there are only 4 times of invitation, I was in those of September 24, 2020 btw. Still those in 2019 maybe delay for a while now, so I guess it will kind of balance out to the old timeline which I hope less than 17 months.

Besides Arrima invite which are limited to vjo only and are in few hundreds, you shouldn't forget the speed at which csq are being churned out from peq program after online Arrima system became functional. With transitional measure applicants, I see the number of csq way above last year. By next year when new measure applications come in Vogue, number of PR applications may come down. Till then let's believe in magic and its powers.

Why do you expect very few applications between those months?

I meant April and July 2020, because of the almost worldwide lockdown. If you remember last year we had the strictest lockdown when almont nobody was working and for sure it was very difficult to get documents from other countries for the same reason. Of course I may mistaken, but this is what I believe.

AOR: Feb 2021
Medical Request: 29th April 2021
Medical passed: May 5th 2021
Pre-arrival Letter: May 28th
Ghost update1: 28th May 2021 (for the pre-arrival letter I got another update)
Ghost update2: 4th June 2021
Ghost update 3: 28th June 2021
Ecas Decision made: 29th June 2021

Do you know how long it takes from decision made to CoPR?
Also do you know whether IRCC contacts only by email to make sure the applicant is in Canada or they might also call? I got 2 calls yesterday but couldn't answer them and I suspect they might be from IRCC.
