You definitely need an extra spreadsheet. We listed every single trip - date, destination, purpose of travel. We went true the old photos and plain tickets in order to see the dates. If you are nor sure just right - about 3 days or I don’t remember exactly. You should do your best. You should not have a gap in your background. If you were unemployed write the dates. The immigration wants to know what were you doing continuesly through your life. Same thing extra spreadsheet.
Hi Leokun,

Thank you for your answer. However my question is, whether I need to fill out the business trips in the Personal history section of form IMM 5669 while I was working for a company, or those trips could be mentioned in the form IMM 5562 - your travel.

For example: I was working for company A from 2016-01 to 2018-01. From 2016-09 to 2016-12: business travel to the USA under visitor visa, and then from 2017-01 to 2017-04, another business trip to USA. Do I need to break down the time I worked for company A into several segments and insert the business trips into the periods above ? I'm only talking about the Personal history section. I'm sure I would need to declare these trips in the Travel form IMM 5562. I'm just not sure if business trips should be also included in the Personal history.

Thank you.

Travel history is personal and business travels less that 6 months.

Example:
3 jan - 10 jan Havana - Cuba a vacation,
24-30 jan - USA, Boston - business trip,
15 april- 1 may - Berlin,Germany- visiting relatives.

Well they don't want immigrants at all, but they can't live without us....
Except your point, the other interesting thing of this article, is that Québec blames the Federal and Federal seems to accept it. So far we were blaming only Québec, I think Federal should take its share from now on.

It's really too bad. But I think the best way for you now is applying the close work permit with the help of your employer.
Good luck.

Alas I’ve spent thousands of dollars on lawyers in mtl over the years. Largely useless. They just read policy to you and most often we—the people affected— know it by heart already. They just want to charge huge amounts to fill out the forms for you. Beyond that they all tend to interpret policy very conservatively and they add little to no meaningful knowledge that we don’t already have. Ideally, I’d want a lawyer who understands trends and informal standards at IRCC that would shed light on how to proceed in a complicated situation like this or can actually point to policy and precedent in support of a favorable outcome. Recommendations welcome.

About 35-40 days lately, but it's just a speculation. I had request on 22 March, passed on 7 April, still waiting

For the excuse et compensation don't be optimistic! I'm suffering their stupidity for a long time and they shut every possible door I knocked on.
