Dear All,
any suggestions, i did not pass the processing time yet, but my medical will expire soon, as per the trend for QSW i should've got the PPR now.
shall i order the GCMS notes again or shall i wait for LVO email?

i linked my application online but its different compared to the GCMS notes, online only medical passed, while for eligibility and background check is in progress. in the notes Criminality, medical and eligibility passed, security is omitted and i have s.19(1) s.15(1) on the page.
Please suggest what can be done in this situation.

thanks,

As per the current trend people are getting the AOR on/after 90 working days

For working days info please follow the below mentioned link

Here is the valid link : http://www.workingdays.ca/

Time line until AOR is same for inland and outland applicants as AOR is send by Sydney office and after that respective visa offices ( as per country of residence) take over applications and timelines after AOR vary by Visa Offices.

Hi guys, got back my passport along with the COPR. :)

Now I am not sure what to do for the next step.
Two options:
1. apply for US visa so I can go to the border for the landing
2. book an appointment at the office in Montreal.

Does anyone know how much time it can take for the application
to be proccessed by the office in Montreal?
I prefer this option to be honest as I avoid the US visa fees and the hassle of
going to the borders.

Thanks in advance!

Congrats for the passport hazle15!
How long since you sent it?

About your question, the way I've heard it there's a u-turn at the border near Montreal, for people to just 'leave' Canada and return. Now that said, I haven't done it yet and I don't know if you'll need a US visa for that.

Congratulations Hazel15!

I don't know how long it would take at the Montreal office, but I did go to the US Border for a work permit last year.
As Marcomcarneiro said there is a u-turn, but I did need the ESTA to go through the US border and do the u-turn. I don't know if that helps... but I hope so.

Congrats again!
