yes it's me. but no, i haven't got good news yet. I sent my passport photocopy in the evening of January 5, the package should have arrived in CIC Ottawa office on January 9, but the status has always been "out for delivery".

I just performed some google search in this forum. This time, I found this thread: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/how-long-does-it-take-cppo-to-stamp-pr-visas-t134889.3240.html

Someone suggested that "If your Canada post status is not "fully green" - (or in other words "delivered") when you send your passport dont worry, I called Canada post they told me since CPPO receives big volume of mail, they don't scan all packages and that's why you don't see the bar being completed."

In that same reply, the forum member also indicated that their status had been "ready for pick up" (a status @alemom got in her tracking record). So I take it to believe that "out for delivery", "ready for pick up" should both be fine if the expected delivery time has long been passed. Many of our envelopes were not scanned when they arrived that end in Ottawa.

And, in another post, people discussed this same topic too (but outside QSW programme): http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/sent-passports-to-ottawa-after-ppr-in-september-t349754.105.html If we pay attention to members' shared timelines, it seems sometimes it can take up to 3 weeks between PPR and CoPR :-X
See for instance ciscotao's timeline (their application was under FSW programme):
Passport Req..: 01-10-2015
VISA ISSUED...: 21-10-2015

mrazzak's (same thread, another page) is:
Passport Req..: 05-10-2015
VISA ISSUED...: 20-10-2015

And, if we read the details in this thread, they actually mentioned that between PPR and CoPR, we could see updates on MyCIC (our file will change from "open" to "closed", all other outstanding statuses will be finalized at the same time.)

I hope it's coming soon for all of us.

a final note on CanadaPost: I can think of no reason to justify why they could choose not to scan all envelopes. But, don't worry. I believe they will receive their karma. I for one would never choose CanadaPost for courrier service or expedited mail unless the receiver specifically demands that I send by CanadaPost. FedEx, UPS, Purolator, etc (you name it), are all better and more reliable.

Yeah , you are right. Another agent from canada post said to me a few seconds ago: it is probably there. Because since I don't request a signature, they just give cic a big pack of mails after it won't show any updates. The status will be out for delivery forever. The only thing I can do is I call cic and let them confirm with me.
This is stupid.
Anyway, I wait my return package then or Just try to call cic tomorrow

that means it has been delivered.
Just expect an email from CIC with status change and check your return envelope status from now on. It should be fine.
When you get your passport back you will forget it all. ;)

I am also waiting, no changes so far. Mine was delivered on the 10th. Let's hope it won't take too long. :D

I know mine is probably also delivered, but I still called cic.
Suprisingly, the agent of cic is as bad as the agent of canadapost. Maybe they hate immigrations.
She said since maybe they didn't open my package yet, so they don't know if they have received or not. It indicates not
And she said I had to confirm with canada post. She said I couldn't help me with that with a very bad tone.
This is exactly what canada post said to me to confirm with cic.
And she was too unpatient to hang out me right away she answered me, did not even give me a chance to ask farther questions.

Neither of them want to take responsibility.

Since they have this kind of attitude. I don't want to bother them anyway.

Good morning people,
I just checked and mine finally says Delivered!
I must say I am relieved because I was really worried.
Now, more waiting!

Another unfortunate thing from my friends
He and his wife sent the package on Dec 20th, but in separate pacakage. He got his passport back Jan 11th, but his wife did not get it yet.
He just told me that cic told him they started processing his wife passport on Jan 9th. which is 3 weeks later they got their passport.

I could not believe how disorganized it is between canada post and cic.
