Hi,pbzh. Can you tell me when you sent you passport? Jan 11th.

I sent on Jan 12th, out for delivery since Jan 13th 10:30 am. It's never been delivered so far.

For you question, my friend sent last year Dec 20th who got his passport back Jan 10th this year, so I guess because of holidays, it will be around 2-3 weeks. Hopefully.

It should be 10 days, but because of holidays, I don't think they will process this fast. But i hope they could do it. Anyway, I am prepared myself for 3 weeks.

Second, Canada post told me ,it should be in the PO box, probably they didn't go to pick it up on Friday. If they pick them up it will show delivered. If not, it will be out for delivery forwever.
Third, I heard it was normal, maybe they forgot to scan some.
I don't know, I hope they don't mess up with my passport.
And I will keep bothering Canada Post in the following days.

I even email CIC, but I don't know if they will reply me with this.

@cohenbrother as of today I'm at the same situation. I've shipped mine on the 12th, but later (6pm). It updated to "Out for Delivery" at 10am this morning. Difference is this timeline still makes sense to me because I've sent it later that day.

Perhaps all our passports are on the same bin waiting for pickup :'(

I currently have a Young Pro work permit, but my company is closing soon so I need to find another job. Hence the hurry to get the COPR soon.

I just sent the email to cic just a few mins ago, but the auto-respond is they will try to reply me within 20 days. 20days later probably I will get my passport back even.
Also I don't think they will reply.

If you're inland, call them early in the morning. Usually before 8am or 7:30 the lines are empty and you'll talk to someone in a few minutes (to avoid the 40 mins wait if calling during daytime).

Then we should start to look at the return tracking code. If it's a bug, the return may show up even before the first one is updated.

This is almost our final step, it should not have been like this, so bad. I don't think our return envelope will be activated in another week, Wrost will be two or three weeks.

Anyway, I will call Canada post every day to bother them until I see my status changed or I got my return envelope. :-X :-X :-X
