Hey All,

Currently I am living in Canada as open work permit holder till 2018 September. I applied for PR application June 2016. I received my CSQ April 2016, before I applied for PR application. Now I am married(January 2017) after I applied for PR ,so I have to get CSQ for my wife. And also include her in PR file. I did follow both steps. I included my wife in CSQ application as accompanying member. And told federal about martial status change, now I am in doubt if I should include her as non-accompanying or accompanying ?

I will get my wife's csq in 6 to 8 months. Maybe early next year.
When I told Federal about my marial status change they ask to submit all documents in 30 days including my wife's CSQ. (Thats not possible as MIDI does take atleast 8 months).
Now after adding my wife in CSQ application and points changed by immigration Quebec, i doubt that I will receive csq for her. Even if received her csq it will take more than 8 months. This can impact my current PR application if i include her as accompanying member.

What will be safest option. ?

Should I add her as non-accompanying as not sure about csq. If yes , will I get my PR without her CSQ ? how long it can be delayed because of my wife's security and background check. ? In mean time if I get CSQ then I can add her as accompanying and give CSQ to federal. Else after getting my PR I can apply as family class.

Should I add her now as accompanying and wait for csq and submit csq when I get it and get PR same time with me.

Please help.

I have included my wife in my application but CIC hasn't mentioned me for her medical yet.
Did you get an email from CIC for medical exam for only yourself? Or your wife also received email (PDF IMM 1017?)for her medical ?

There is no precedent set that I've seen to revoke your CSQ. Remember, the CSQ means that you have been nominated by that province. After it is granted, the processing will be at the federal level. They have a right to call an interview at anytime and it's case by case basis. So if your friends had an interview doesn't necessarily mean you may get one, only if the officer assessing your file have any questions will you be called for an interview. This interview could be in English or French. At this level they're not assessing your level of French that's already passed when Quebec selected you with the certificates - if called for an interview, in the correspondence they sent you will have the area that they're doubtful, you don't just walk in blindly. Finally all documents still belong to the government of Canada even the PRCard belongs to the crown, and should you do anything against the manner of Canada it can be revoked.

Im a but confused at your statement. You stated that you included your wife in your application but she didn't receive a medical request When you did? Am I correct? Here lies my confusion. When a medical request is administered, it is sent for the principal and all the dependents included in their application to complete in the timeframe given, failure to submit in the stipulated timeframe can result in dismissal of an application. So, at the time your request was sent it was for the principal and all others to complete within the timeframe. Had the case been, when you received your medical and the others were not included, you should have enquired and sent an email that you need the IME # for your dependents to complete the medical.
