thank for you,just to let you know I am active in another french forums and yesterday 7 persons (sponsorship categorie)received a mail from Rabat Visa office for their visas next wednesday

I have an eye in RABAT,Paris,DAKAR,ACCRA visas office and i think CIC is now on others categories (Tourism,studies and sponsorship)

My VO is Abu Dhabi, no news up to now. we have some cases that are waiting since almost a year now.

I have an idea for your.
Frist create an account in cic.gc.ca and link your federal file with this accout. At 18 August they will open for QSW for linkup. May be for linkup you need your personal information like Dob, name etc. ( I wish it would be ) you need a federal form copy for linkup.

thanks for your idea , I created the account, it is not possible to link QSW applications to this account yet. I will try again after August 18th as you said. I hope I would be able to link up without file number.

We have passed ou medical Visit on Mai and no news and no visa (we are more than 120 persons still waiting in another french forum)

May be they will start processing QSW from fall season which is start from 21 September.
They are totally stop processing QSW. No AOR, No Medical, No RPRF Request and not Passport Request around the globe. ??? :

My medical results were received on 5 January. Still waiting. It looks like QSW is not CIC's highest priority these days.

I feel your pain. Why did CIC ask for additional background info? Was it because the process has been taking so long? What are the current processing times for federal part for Quebec applicants? 16 months? I've been waiting too and they haven't even responded to my settlement plan which I sent via almost two months ago.

QUESTION - 2: What sort of things do we say about job prospects?...I am a computer engineer/software engineer but not yet applied for jobs in Quebec as i am waiting for the PR first...is this a bad thing?...

I kept it fairly simple in form. I was mainly focused on how I would find a job in my profession. It took my 4 pages in total. Are you an inland applicant? I was asked to reply via email, which would expedite the final stage of processing but clearly it did not have any influence on the pace of giving the final decision (I am from visa exempt country).

I was wondering if you could clarify some points in relation to your earlier reply!

(1) When you said your settlement plan was 4 pages...was it 4 pages regarding just how you would find a job in your profession or was it everything including other stuff all in 4 pages?

(2) Do i have to show proof that I have applied for jobs because I wanted to wait until i got the PR first! So does not having proof of job-application related correspondence work against my application (in particular..the settlement plan)?
