2018 Feb. Great !
As I said, we will be hearing more DMs for early 2018 applicants within next month.

This prediction is only based on my personal observations, I don’t get any insights from IRCC at all.

Hi,
I am having the same scenario. Limits same time line.
Nov 2017 - received date
Feb 2018-AOR
May-2018 - RPRF
Medical -waiting
Many web form and emails send but stand answers received as applicant is on timeline.
GCMS note says nothing started yet..

Don’t know what to do.. !

Hi,

sorry to ear that you are in this awful situation, I don't know what to do either!

it's my 22th month "inland applicant", and yesterday I received a letter asking for:

IMM 0008
IMM 5462
IMM 5562
IMM 5669
Schedule 5
Passport
bio pages
Police Clearance and Medical exam. They only gives 7 days to receive all docs they request.

This is actually the complete file I send to them on september 2017 minus some support proofs. I think IRCC lost my application. At least I got medical request.

Anyone in this situation?

Don’t think too much it’s good sign send all your documents via web form ASAP and ones your medical done expect your DM in month it’s good sign.

Hi guys. First time participating in this thread, and would like to share my view on this matter.
While I am sure that one’s country of origin has something to do with the processing time, I believe that it is not the sole reason why some people got their applications processed faster than the others. In my opinion, the CIC is bypassing the some existing applications to process a few newer applications once in a while for statistical reasons. You know, if some decisions are made in 15 months, it would help them lower the average processing time even though applications are processed within 21-24 months in general. However, this would give applicants awaiting for a decision an inaccurate info. Let’s say the CIC website says it is 21 months, the reality is that some applicants will take as long as 24 months.
This is just my opinion. Take it with a grain of salt.
This really makes sense. After all they too have should meet their service standards but by skewing it with these "workarounds" and at the cost of unlucky applicants.

Oh that’s pathetic but good thing is your application is moving now.. little relief..
how come any one get all those documents in 7 days..
In India, police clearance certificate take 15 days or more..
Also, I have received document request with RPRF in last year May 2018.
Don’t know what is going on with my application!
20th month is in process.

Your police clearance is done at Passport office, we did it on the same day of our appointment , then why do they need a fort night?

Don't worry everyone will get their PPR, it's just the time, some get early, some get on time and some get a little late but I'm sure everyone will get unless no criminal background, be patient and wait for your time.

7 days is realy short, I didn't go to my home country since my last P.C, I just didn't leave Canada since 2017, so I wonder if I can still use the previous one, because 7 days for back home P.C is unrealistic. My passport expires this december, few days less than the needed 6months, so they ask for a new one. Fortunatly I see it comming and renew my passport last month ;).
