You really can't compare it to FSW. Their process is a lot faster. They are getting their PPRs after only 8 months at the moment. I don't find it fair that they are given priority over CEC and PEQ, those who are already living and working in Canada. But what do you want to do? It is the way it is.

Yes, like I said, they are separate programs FSW and QSW and shouldn't be compared. But I don't know where does the RCMP documents request comes into the timeline of QSW process.
Not sure if they give priority to FSW over other programs. Maybe how they go about verifying and validating FSW apps might be different and faster than QSW.

hi :)
anyone had a salary increase during the one working year required by the PEQ?

Because I have been told (by the lawyers) that these increases should be reported to Service Canada (not sure what it is).
(and, because fo these, we are still waiting to submit theapplication to Quebec :( )
Anyone knows a little bit more?

Thanks a lot..

Yes, I had my salary increased.
I think almost everyone has their salary increased in a year, if not a raise then at least to cover inflation there is always some kind of salary increase.
I never reported any such increase to Service Canada and I got my PEQ CSQ without any issues last year. Although I have been filing my taxes regularly every year.
Not sure what your lawyers are talking about.

Why do you even need to use lawyers who seem to be just delaying your whole process? The PEQ-CSQ application and process is kind of straightforward, I would advise researching yourself.

I am using the lawyer because, in that case, the company pays the fees (which, to my knowledge, it is up to 4500$ for 2 people)

Who told you the fee is $4500? The lawyers probably did.
It's not $4500, its ~$900 for principal+spouse:
http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/immigrate-settle/students/stay-quebec/application-csq/students-peq/fees-payment.html

Just be careful the lawyers don't delay it too much and you get your CSQ/PR in time before your current status expires.

Proof legality of professional experience
This should be a proof of social security contributions or a notice of assessment to tax
on income.
If you cannot provide one of these proofs, you must provide an exemption proof of payment of social security premiums by a government authority (not your employer).

Important clarifications on the proof of legality:
Whatever industry you work in (private, public, parapublic, etc.), you must proof of legality of your professional experience.
All documents certifying the legality of professional experience must be issued by an authority
government. The documents issued by your employer or accountant are not accepted.
The notice of assessment to tax on income is an official document issued by the tax authorities confirming the receipt of the tax return and assessment of the information submitted.
If you work or have worked in a country or territory other than one in which you are a permanent resident or a citizen or permanent resident or citizen, you must submit a photocopy of your work permit.
Examples of documents that are not accepted as proof of legality:
- Declarations of income;
- Acknowledgments of tax returns;
- The registration cards to a social security body;
- The tax registration cards;
- Pay slips.

I need help from you guys. In my case, I've applied CSQ through Regular program – Foreign student in Québec from Montreal on September 2014 (as I completed Masters from here). My AOT is Computer Engineering and currently I am working in Quebec in my profession. I showed my job experience from Pakistan is 1.6 year with my application. I have submitted my experience letters and a salary certificate from employer which mentioned that my salary was below taxable limit by income tax regulation. I didn't file my tax return during that year because I didn't know on that time I will face tax problem in future. Also, I receive the salary in Cash not direct deposit.

As I can see in this forum many people belong from Asia are facing the same problem and many people got success. I don't know exactly from where in Pakistan I can get tax documents which is acceptable by Quebec official.

Can any one guide me from which department in Pakistan I can get a proof of social security contributions or a notice of assessment to tax on income???

OR

If you cannot provide one of these proofs, you must provide an exemption proof of payment of social security premiums by a government authority (not your employer). I don't know from which department I can get this doc, please advice???

Anyone got a news in Canada about the Superior Court VS Quebec Govt ???
Has the Quebec Govt appealed to retroactive B2 Rules????

Hi,
This might not be an appropriate topic to ask this question because its only the PEQ-CSQ applicants here. When applying through PEQ, there is no requirement for out of Quebec experience, so applicants don't have to go through the process of getting any documents that you mentioned.
You might get answers at the regular CSQ topics or some Pakistan related topic.

Still waiting for the PPR! :/ it's been already two weeks since I received the DM!!

If you check the Topic about CPC Ottawa FSW(FSW 2014 - CPC OTTAWA - Visa Office - Let's Connect Here), there are many people who got the DM, but they get the PPR after some delay.
So it looks like they might have changed something in the process, where the PPR is sent out a bit later.
I hope you get it soon.

Thanks s2t2! I'll give them a call tomorrow and ask them about it.

I just called the CIC Call Center at 1-888-242‑2100. And the agent said he can't look at my file because agents have new instructions that they shouldn't access any file unless the time since application time is more than the processing time. So the call was pretty much useless. Now I have to wait again!

not really. almost 4 weeks since Decision Made!

Hi everyone!
I had DM and PPR on the same day. Maybe the ppr it s blocked in the system because i saw my 4th line with DM in the morning and the PPR "arrived" on my e-mail at 21.30, and at this hour only the janitor is there...
Call again and speak with another agent.
