Received 1st communication after my AOR on 02/28/2012. The letter stated that I am on interview wait list. How long does it take for the interview date confirmation?

Thanks!
I received an official confirmation of an interview about a month after receiving the waiting list notice.

I had my interview today and received my CSQ! What an exciting day! The lady greeted me and was not overly friendly, but not overly cold either. We went over all of my documents, she asked me some questions to clarify a few things, asked me about what I know about practicing my profession, a few questions here and there about my visits to Quebec and what I know about Quebec. All the while she was entering things into her computer and she said, "Bienvenue chez nous!" The interview went for no more than an hour, though I couldn't tell you exactly how long and it was completely in French.
Hi, ekim8587.

What do you exactly mean by "We went over all of my documents?" Is it just a simple matter of verifying the authenticity of each document against the original copy, or did the interviewer ask questions on each document?

My selection interview is coming up in May, and I don't want any surprises.

Anyone that has done his/her selection interview is welcome to chime in.

Hi, xse2573.

Do you have any insight into going over documents during the interview?

Hello jpmorg
YES its an easy processes...they just confirm the authenticity of your originals cert and transcripts..nothing hard on that...The part you should concentrate on is when you guyz start discussing in FRENCH...the trick is just be yourself
dont prove you are so good in french, just prove you can speak the basic and you can adapt easily if selected
and many more

Wow, that is rather long . . . .

Anyway, congrats on your CSQ.
Yes it was rather long but guess what?...it was like 97% English Language than French Language
The guy was really friendly and My experiences and Exposures were solid...I speak English, Swedish
and French, l think that was why he just switch to the normal..so it varies!!!

Well, I wasn't really expecting a selection interview because I spent many years in France and got educated there.

I was hoping to receive my CSQ without an interview, but now I must get myself ready for it.

How annoying!

Hi JPMorg,

Thanks for the response. I Received the AOR on March 2nd. Can you give an estimate of when I will back from them gauging from your situation.

Thanks
